Is Billick still a gut feeling to you? I definitely would not mind that.
What about Cowher? Seems like there's been NO talk of him.
The whole expect a second big news out of Redskins Park this week in a way makes me think that we didn't land something that we were supposed to... but I'm not so sure that it was Shanahan, I'm suspecting Doug Williams. Either way it makes more sense to wait for the season to end.
Gut feeling on Billick.
Second big news? What are you referring to?

For what its worth:
Source: Blache, Gray tell Zorn they didn - FOX 31 U-Report Blog post - Upload photos & video | Free Blog (http://community.kdvr.com/_Source-Blache-Gray-tell-Zorn-they-didnt-interview-for-Skins-job/BLOG/1630474/96399.html)
To summarize, accoroding to Fox's source:
1. Blache and Grey told Zorn they didn't interview for the skins job.
2. Scott Wachenheim told Zorn he heard Shanahan was a done deal.
3. Everyone hates Clinton Portis.
That's some serious soap opera drama going on in the locker room right now.
As for CP I think he's almost like a Vinny II. Too close to the owner, he needs to go if only for the impression that true change is underway. Plus to state the obvious, his contract is ridiculous and he's past his prime.

Ahh. Good ol' Josina (she used to work with Tony McGee if I recall correctly). Josina also provided us with this nugget earlier this year
"An anonymous Redskins coach told Fox 31 in Denver that, "There is definitely a number of us who would love to have him (Vick) play here. I can tell you I would not mind at all."
Lots of speculation there. But anyway, I 100% agree with her on this:
“Too many people were in Jim’s ears. That’s another big problem. If Jason (Campbell) did something bad, you would still be hearing about it on the sidelines way too long; even when the defense was on the field. (Other coaches) would never allow Jim to move on. But when Sherman Lewis came in, that got streamlined a little better.”

Man, this is like a soap opera. I believe Blache and Gray and believe that it's all a smokescreen just to have the media speculate about the next coach and get it wrong.

Blache "betrayed" his mentor Gregg Williams. I wouldn't put it past him to do the same to Zorn. That said, I think both Blache and Grey probably had some sort of conversation with Snyder about taking over the team on an interim basis if Zorn had been fired or quit earlier on in the season.

So is Blache Pontious Pilate? I am innocent of the blood of this just person; see ye to it.

The media makes it a soap opera, because they don't know yet so they make up stuff in an attempt to get the truth out. When the HC replacement become official we are going to find out that the Skins fllfiled their obligations to the Rooney Rule from the league office and we still will not find out who the minority candidate was, just like when Allen was hired. Some stuff is meant to be confidential and will remain that way.

Yea, alot of that seems a little "gossipy." It's hard to get a good read on it when you don't know who it's coming from.
The CP thing is really nothing new. All Skins fans I think can agree that the offense is better now that Lewis is here too.
The Rooney Rule thing is overblown. Do you really think DS would not adhere to the Rooney Rule? Do people out there think he would be that stupid? Come on...it's a little overblown. It's the media looking for an evil story against DS.
