We should all pitch in and start a campaign in Dallas. We can have trucks drive around town which have signs which say, "Good Job Jerry" on one side and "Keep Wade" on the other side. We can also market "Keep Wade" t-shirts.

Seriously, DS can outbid JJ, and JJ isnt gonna give Shanahan the control he wants, so even if the cowboys lose out (please God) we would still get Shanahan if that's who BA (and DS by proxy) wants.

Cowboys need to lose Always

ESPN reported that Holmgren turned down a seattle offer to be in "senior management"

You are both right that Zorn may be able to head a team somewhere else, and to call supporters morons is a little harsh. But look at what he has done. He has not moved this offense at all. And that is really what his specialty is. I don't think he has the game knowledge to lead a team strategically.

With that said. He has been able to take a team that has no reason to play and somehow motivate them to play with heart. It's a very strong accomplishment in my book. But to say that unfortunately he wont get a chance to coach in DC is strange to me. The man has been a failure here -- that is what is unfortunate.

Dude you are a dumbass for thinking that Zorn couldn't move the ball..no shit, he said that it would take 2-3 years for the players to get the system just like it took Holmgren 2 years to put it in, Shanahan 2 years all the way back to Bill Walsh. Just because Sherm Lewis has come in and the team is scoring more points, don't forget that the guy coaching the players is still Zorn...show some respect to a coach who has made the best of a very tough situation

Really? Wow. I'm surprised. I suppose he's off to Cleveland.

He would have been team president with final say over personnel, so Cleveland must be giving him more money. I've thought Cleveland for a while, long before the job was even open, but once Seattle came into the picture that did seem to be the ideal fit for him. I still think Holmgren was a bit hurt that he actually had to interview with the Seahawks.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking too. Unless BA has been amazed by Zorn, and made nice to Holmgren :) I jest

Ironic, they take the job away from him when he's head coach only to offer it a few years later.

i thought he didn't want to be on the west coast anymore anyways, plus imo the browns have more upside than the hawks as far a player personel
