You think Tony Dungy and Jim Irsay, in spite of Bill Polian, didn't have major input on roster moves? You think Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft, in spite of Scott Pioli, didn't have major input on roster moves? That doesn't make Polian and Pioli "yes men"

*Jason Campbell Traded to Tennessee for Chris Simms, straight up. Jason Campbell is an ideal fit for Tennessee's offense. Chris Simms is an ideal fit for our offense. Its a good deal for both teams. Maybe we could get a low-round pick in addition to Simms for Campbell, but I don't think Vinny is that good of a negotiator.
**2nd round pick acquired via trade for Carlos Rogers. Normally, I wouldnt like the move, but Asomugha is a clear upgrade over Carlos, and this move would garner us a draft pick.

I tend to agree. Zorn was unqualified when he came in and while he's done an admirable job at holding things together and keeping his chin up during a really shitty time, I'm sure one of the things Allen is working on right out of the gate is evaluating potential head coach candidates. If this is Allen's ship to run, he needs to bring in his guys.
