Tony Dungy wouldn't interview unless he knew he was guaranteed the job. I don't think he wants to coach again. Why would any coach leave Peyton Manning unless they were really fed up with coaching? cpayne5 12-17-2009, 01:29 PM I really hope we dont get Shanahan, he hasnt done jack without Elway. Thank you. NYCSkin 12-17-2009, 01:30 PM Snyder made the right business move. Whether it will translate in more wins for the Skins--time will tell. But by forcing Cerrato's exit--which is what this midseason "resignation" is--he has already got a PR win and can shift the pressure and responsibility to Allen (starting with whether to retain Zorn). Ruhskins 12-17-2009, 01:30 PM Why would you assume that? Gruden praised Campbell for a lot when doing the commentary for our game. He pointed out a few things he could suggest to Campbell for improvement while saying basically "I could take this guy to the next level, he has the talent". This of course, was BEFORE Jason's game took off in the last 6 weeks. JC earned his future with the team I think. Well Chucky likes veteran QBs, and as someone mentioned this morning on 980, Campbell is a veteran. Kalisto2010 12-17-2009, 01:32 PM I really hope we dont get Shanahan, he hasnt done jack without Elway. ditto. wilsowilso 12-17-2009, 01:35 PM Boy am I late to the party. A huge Redskins Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Smithers is outta here! Monkeydad 12-17-2009, 01:36 PM Boy am I late to the party. A huge Redskins Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Smithers is outta here! Location: Los Angeles It's OK. :D Yep, happy day today! I'm shocked it happened and ecstatic that it did! tryfuhl 12-17-2009, 01:37 PM Cerrato's statement: No Zorn in the Coach list. What would he call Zorn a great for? Doesn't have nearly the track record. hooskins 12-17-2009, 01:38 PM Apparently for GM you can get around the Rooney Rule, if you name your GM VP of Football Ops. I think that position does not need the Rooney Rule, but GM does. |
