Well in the sense that they both had rocky personal starts in the NFL, got it together, both were having great seasons prior to their death. Very, very tragic. What a bitter-sweet day.

RIP Chris Henry, so much talent...a young man whose life was cut short in his prime. Thoughts and prayers to the Henry family

Even if she felt threatened I know it sounds shitty she should not have done that...The doors were locked. I wanna say its a freak accident but in light of the recent events you know exactly what it looks like.

Indeed, which is why the investigation needs to sort things out. I think as fans of the game and given the tragedy of a young person passing, it is easy for people to point the finger at Henry's fiancee, just as it is easy for some people to bring up Henry's troubled past into the equation to this tragedy.

How about why in the world would you jump into the back of the truck? Either scenario is not smart:
a- jump in because you want to calm her down and apologize and not leave without you.
b- jump in cause you want to strangle her (or cause other harm) when the vehicle stops.

Either scenario, it not a smart choice. To compare that to ST is a little off. ST was defending his home, Henry (RIP) was performing a moronic, and likely illegal move.
Quite a shame...the man had talent, but couldn't overcome himself. You hate to see stories like this because of what he left behind. Hope those kids are well taken care of.

Sad to hear; wonder what is running through your head when you jump into the back of a truck though.

it could have went either way. He could have been pleading with her to stop the vehicle,

OR

he could have been waiting for the car to stop so he could strangle/beat her to death....no way to tell.

Either way he is dead by her hand...whether it was intentional or not i guess will never be known

You're right, it likely will never be known, and if the woman was smart, she would say he jumped into the back of the truck saying he was going to kill her, that way it looks like self defense. We will never know if it's true or not.
I'm not sure I would say it's death by her hand though. When you do something amazingly wreckless like jump into the back of a moving truck, you accept the responsibility of what could happen. There is a reason there are no seat belts in the bed of a truck, and there is a law about transporting people in the beds of trucks.
Ask yourself, what would you do if someone twice your size jumped into the back of your truck saying horrible things like "I'll kill you" etc (not saying that happened, just pointing out, if it did, this scenario becomes understandable.) It's possible that Henry was so enraged that he even tried to open her door while driving down the road and he fell off.
Point is, we have no clue what really happened. It seems more "logical" that Henry was being agressive and this tragic incident happened. But it could have easily been something far less crude. If you are trying to get away from someone, why would you chase them to the point of jumping in the back of their truck? Ultimately, the responsibility is on Henry, not the woman.

He killed himself...what a dipshit.

1. Him jumping into a truck with a broken arm is just dumb.
2. Henry should not have chased after her after a arguement causing the women to freak out.
3. The girlfriend is actually the victim NOT Henry. Jumping into her car and not knowing why or what he was going to do gives her the right to say self defense.

Sean Taylor was not trying to put himself in harm's way, his family was in danger and he got shot. Henry died because of stupidity and his judgment caused his untimely death.

I do pray for his family and 3 kids
