tryfuhl 12-18-2009, 02:25 PM Are you serious? Taylor went back to Miami w/o telling anyone and unarmed after the same dudes broke in 2 wks earlier. Either grab something other than a machete or get the fuck out of Miami. Had he done either he would be alive.
No shit Henry made a mistake it cost him his life. It's not the offseason man yeah they're grown adults but they work for their team, and neither called to let anyone know. Before you bitch, think about how either one had made a different choice at their TOD. We know their grown men but Taylor bringing his family to Miami especially when those moromns broke in 2wks earlier and had not been caught wasn't smart. Henry coming to Carolina and then jumping into a moving truck isn't smart. Do you see the similarities? They both left their teams w/o calling them.
Damn bro chill, It's a freakin suggestion don't spaz out:)
Sean was not able to own a gun at the time I'm pretty sure. So he was actually complying with the law though he probably could've kept one in his home without being found out... that was being pretty responsible.
No offense to any of our female members but these women are killing their men! First Mcnair and now this, is some conflict resolution workshops in the future of the NFL?
Someone needs to talk to these guys about what to do in a dispute and how to handle themselves in the right way, granted if my Fiance jumped in the bed of the truck and im driving off I'd slow down and she should have, you can agree or disagree with me if want but She didn't even dial 911 for him. Ugh..am i the only one that thinks that the woman can't really be seen as the victim here?
I'm not for beating on Women or anything I just think the media is trying to put a spin on this or a slant if you will that isn't right murder is murder assault is assault!
vallin21 12-18-2009, 03:24 PM In principle it's a good idea, but that should probably be up to each individual club in my opinion. Wasn't Sean going to get a second opinion from his preferred specialist?
I think he just went down there to heal and check out the problem, though I might be wrong. Saying should be up to the teams to make a rule is a better idea. I don't think thats "babying" grown men, because it could prevent future deaths like this from happening. I don't think the NBA hasn't had any in season deaths and injured guys still travel with the team I think.

Good post bro. And this issue needs to be addressed because top players are being targeted, or killed by there woman. It doesn't do the league any good to sit and take a deaf ear until someone else gets killed. For some reason this is not happenig in the NBA, The league where most people would suspect to have these issues.
SolidSnake84 12-18-2009, 03:33 PM The first 911 tape released had a guy calling in because of erractic driving...he saw a pickup swerving all over the road....then he saw Chris in the back, so its obvious she was trying to throw him off...i can't believe people are missing that point. Now that he died, how can that not be homicide, even if it was in self defense?
Chris was beating on the truck she said, on the second tape released...so he wasnt happy but either way, his fiancee is the reason he is dead. facts are facts. He may have tried to kill her once she stopped...but she decided that he was too dangerous to be kept alive...after he was slung out, she didnt even call 911 on him...so that proves she wanted him to die....

You guys are missing the point. The fault lies with both of these supposed adults involved. I use the word adult loosely.
Chris should have never jumped on the back of the truck and started pounding on it. A human life (yours) is more valuable than a pickup truck or an ATV or getting disrespected. The women inside is half his size and strength of an elite adult male NFL football player. She was most likely scared for her life.
I am sure if a guy twice your size and strength jumped on you car and started pounding on it you would be scared as well.
These people made very bad decisions while in an out of control rage. Plain and simple. Nobody is more or less at fault in this situation. They both made bad decisions that they now regret. As I am sure Tiger and his wife now regret. It should never have reached that level of violence. One of them should have backed off.

interesting reports
while speculating and talking out of our asses in this thread I'll say that he was likely mad about her acting spoiled about what she wanted for the wedding and she thought that she deserved to have every penny spent on her that she wanted
SolidSnake84 12-18-2009, 04:21 PM Thats what it seems like.....the lady just wanted to be spoiled because she probably figured that Chris would make all the money....and some of the NFL guys just can't seem to stay away from it....like Travis Henry....he had 9 kids by 9 different woman, and child support basically robbed him of everything that he would have ever made in the NFL...
Somebody needs to educate these players about making good choices, obviously....
