Whether the Fins go into the draft and select a QB in the first 2 rounds will be a good indication of how much confidence they have in Feeley/Fiedler. If I were them, I'd trade up and get Roethlisberger or Rivers.

Daseal 03-14-2004, 09:55 PM I have a feeling SD is trying to trade down and get Rivers. johnnyredskin63 03-15-2004, 06:09 AM i would take rivers in a second guys.i have watched him play frequently over the last few years at nc state and that guy is scary.i think that boston will end up in miami. from what i have heard, they are the only team intrested in him. itvnetop 03-15-2004, 05:09 PM rivers' mentor norm chow is the man! johnnyredskin63 03-15-2004, 06:45 PM i hear the dolphins have offered jay fielders ears to fedex for an airplane.has anybody noticed the guy has the biggest ears in the history of the world?if he stands on a hill and a stiff breeze comes along, that dude's airborn man. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-15-2004, 08:26 PM I have been saying for a little over two months now that Rivers is definately going to be gone before #10. He has been hyped up in the last two weeks as possibly surpassing Roethlisberger on most teams' draft boards. What were people watching beforehand? This guy is going to be a monster by his third year. If I were choosing a QB in the draft, I'd have him in a dead heat with Eli Manning and several steps above Roethlisberger. Portis 03-15-2004, 08:38 PM Dolphins on verge of acquiring WR Boston. I think Miami's offense would be pretty darn impressive if they can also trade up for Rivers. A rivers, r. williams, d.boston, c.chambers, and r.mcmichaels. I haven't heard yet but does anyone who watches stuff in the entire league know who the new offensive cord. is for Miami? SmootSmack 03-16-2004, 08:06 PM Joel Collier is the new offensive coordinator in Miami. He was the running backs coach for the past six years. His dad was the defensive coordinator for the Broncos for many years. He left shortly after Super Bowl XXII...gee, I wonder why? |
