^^^

he is averaging 11.6 yards per return this year on punts. that is huge

i would settle for half of that at this point he is currently averaging 3.9 with a long of 15 and ranks 61st in the nfl at punt returns

I just watched a replay of a Browns/Steelers game from ARE's Steeler days. He looked completely different. In this game, he had 2 HUGE returns, one for a TD and also played well at WR.

That game disappeared when he became a Redskin somehow.

In college, he looked like the best athlete ever...completely unstoppable.

Funny how a #1 receiver contract does that to a #3 receiver talent...

I wish they would replace him so you guys could see others fail to get any real yards and realize we have poor blocking on punt returns. My luck now that I've posted this Moss will get the chance and return it to the house.

Theisman brings up a great point of accountability on this team. Inconsistent, which fits the mold of the FO as well as the coaching on this team. They bench Carlos, but Hall and Laron get beat and they get a pass. ARE is god aweful on special teams, he gets a pass all day with his bs mistakes, but we cut kicker and chose to levy the two losses on him and overlook the countless other mistakes on the field. I wonder what the locker room thinks?...ARE shouldnt return next year, he doesnt bring it enough on the field and we have other "good locker room" guys...plus that contract...

Follow the money and you can easily understand the perferred treatment. Take a look at the salry structure of the players alowed to make repeated mistakes and continue as oposed to those of lesser stature who are cut for mistakes of even lesser magnitude.

If he had simply maintained the same level as in Pittsburgh, I'd have no complaints because he'd be making a big impact.

As far as a WR his number are a little better here then in Pit.

Well no one is returning it if they let the ball hit the ground and roll 20 yards or if they let balls bounce off their facemask.

3 fumbles is inexcusable.
