I don't have kids but at that age I would've probably killed myself going 35mph.

And so would every single kid. What a horrible idea, how is this thing not illegal?

Seriously? It's just a glorified go-kart.
I was doing well over 35MPH on all sorts of motorized things when I was a kid.

Same here.
Go to any dirt track in PA or MD you see plenty of kids going over 35 mph on dirt bikes and ATV's
S10 what are you going to do buy a 25mph Go-Cart and pull in front of these kids to slow them down? =) I ked!

Around age 8 I got my first dirt bike a Honda C50 and I had a blast on that thing.

Well I say this of course colored by the area I grew up in and now live. There's no good place for a kid to drive a go-kart around my town, that's why they're illegal on the streets or sidewalks in our town. It's a suburban area, but a rather populated one. There's too high a chance a kid would come into contact with another car. A real car.
If you can get out to a dirt track or whatever then I can see how it's a little more doable.
More than that though, I just think this is ridiculous. If I'm going to spend $32,000 on something, it better be cool. But this makes the kid in the photo look like a friggin dork.

Ah, yeah. I grew up, and still live, on a farm. I essentially had several square miles of woods and pasture land to do whatever I wanted. I took full advantage of it.
(don't tell matty that I might be a redneck...he won't like me anymore)
