I don't know how comfortable I would be with Hall playing FS with his suspect tackling skills and not to mention he's only 185 lbs.Well, that's the flip side, but if we go back to playing the FS 25 yards off the ball, tackling ability hardly matters.

One thing I have liked about the defense without Hall is how aggressive the corner play has been. Of course, aggressive does not necessarily = better, but I miss the days when we used to be physical with receivers. Of course, a lot of that might also been because Tryon was out, so Smoot/Rogers/Westbrook pretty much have to rough up the other team's corners to be successful.

do you really expect rogers to be back in 2010? i don't think he will.

I think we will if we can't get a third round pick for him on the market.

Of course, I think there's plenty of teams that will be willing to pay that price. I also think it would be a bad trade, assuming resigning him to a long-term deal is still an option. If it's not, well, it's a good price for one year of Rogers.

Of course, he will be 29 next season, so by "long-term" I mean, no more than 4 years.
