Here is my latest column. Sorry it's late, my web person has been sick for the last two days. Please let me know what you think (especially the overview). Remember I'm just a fan and you have just as much say as I do. So, please reply. I use some constructive criticism. Thanks for your time.

As my first post on the warpath...I'd like to say you wrote a pretty good article, but I think the offense is about to turn it around. Portis is starting to click, and I think that will open up the passing game some. I'm not saying I love Brunell, but we've seen what flip floping on quarterbacks can do to a team, and I actually admire Gibbs for sticking with his guy...he obviously sees something we don't, and I for one trust him. Besides, with the return of a few starters on an already monster defense, we don't won't need a high scoring offense to win games, all we really need is one that will stop giving points to the other team.

we need more than 13 points for GB philly and the vikes... ;)

GB's not as good as philly or the vikings...but yeah, we do. Most importantly, we need to stop losing points on offense

Again, a well written article but like Krills mentioned I also think that Gibbs's offense will make a turn after the bye week. We all know that the offensive plays were scaled back because of players lining up in the wrong positions and not truly understanding what Gibbs was trying to accomplish. You mentioned Brunell's poor play, but maybe it would have been good to mention his hamstring injuries that have obviously affected his ability to plant his feet and make the throws. I don't think Brunell's skills have diminished. It's more like he's playing through an injury. I'm glad for the bye week and I hope Brunell returns to his form.

but its not really obvious that an injury is the cause of him sucking, cause there's still an entire tampa bay game and a lot of a giants game where he wasn't so hot either and wasn't injured... since no one's mentioned anything official about it, it'd just be speculation...

I think everything right now is in order for us to turn it around on offense, exept 1 thing, Brunell, we may be able to win some games on defense, and a couple of play's on offense, but we are going to have to move the ball to sustain any momentum, at 2-4 we can't afford to give away another game, I truly believe we can still make the playoff's, but we can't give away another game, we may lose a couple along the way, but that's football, we just can't blow it against an inferior team, because Brunell keep's giving up point's, and can't sustain a drive, unfortunatly I think the playoff's will be out of reach before we figure out Brunell is finished, and quite honestly I was never that impressed with him as a pure passer to begin with, there is a reason coughlin wanted to get rid of him in Jax.

Thanks guys for reading my article. I haven't disagreed with anything that has been stated in your replies. I just honestly think that judging Ramsey on his performance in New York is unfair. We put him in down 13, and for some reason we didn't run the ball. I think a run oriented offense would be great for Ramsey. Portis would benefit, too. Having a deep threat spreads the defenses, and opens more lanes for running. From a fan's perspective, I have just seen a quarterback who is scared to give up a big play (scared to lose), in Brunell. Also, he has said to the media that his hamstring is 100%. The commentators on Fox Sunday were talking about as well. He is just not as mobile as he used to be. I think Brunell can be utilized off the field with his experience and leadership. But, like I said I will always support Joe Gibbs. If he wants to play Brunell, I'm behind him. Whatever happens I just want to see some good Redskin football. And I'd like to see us actually win convincingly one or twice this season. You can't just let teams stick around, even though you dominate in nearly ever category.

We did try to run the ball against the G-men, but we didn't have much success, unfortunatly Tom Coughlin know's Brunell better than anyone, and he handed out a blueprint to the rest of the league on how to play Brunell.
