Looking back on it we figure that the lame as kicker would make a simple kick. He would if it didnt mean anything bu.t it was a pressure kick and he chocked No excuses. This team stood toe to toe with arguably the best team in the NFL right now and won. Everyone stepped up today and I haven't been more proud of this team in a very long time. Sure, it was the play the game turned on, and it was the easiest point at which we could have put it away, but it didn't cost us the win any more than not getting into the endzone on the previous three plays did. The play that lost the game was the Sellers fumble. Just too many Sellers/Landry types on this team. Ridiculous loss that will ultimately mean nothing, but we have to get smarter players on both sides of the football. | |
