Big C 12-05-2009, 11:39 PM and georgia tech wins over clemson. gotta say i dont like either team, im a hokie, but it would really be a disgrace if an unranked team won a bcs conference. clemson's side of the acc had no ranked teams, our side had 3. pretty lopsided this year. congrats to GT.
mlmdub130 12-05-2009, 11:44 PM what an end to that texas game. real shame that they will most likely be in the natty championship game. really pathetic game from them today. today rules tebow and mccoy out of the heisman race imo, both were poor today, especially mccoy. gotta say texas doesnt deserve to be in the national title game with these last 2 showings when you have several other undefeated teams out there.
to their credit texas is a pretty good team, and they are unbeaten too, with a lot harder schedule. i would rather see bama v texas, and tcu v cicny, cause they will be better games anyway.
boise st should not be aloud in a bcs bowl game until they change the color of their stupid ass feild, i can't stand to watch a game on that dumb ass feild

texas' schedule a lot harder? this is one of the worst years for the big 12, they were a great conference last year but oklahoma sucked this year, ok state was overrated, texas tech very average, all of the big 12 north besides nebraska were average to poor. texas had a rather easy schedule to be honest. they are solely going to the national championship due to where they started the season. as ive said before, tcu would give bama the best game, cinci's defense is terrible, and boise has no shot at making the game. just saying that imo texas doesnt deserve it with their performances this season.
mlmdub130 12-06-2009, 12:08 AM while the ig 12 is at it's worst it's still a tough division imo, and i still thin texas give bama the best gane if you walk to talk about easy schedules take a look at byu they barely be clemson and only played byu and utah as other ranked teams
GMScud 12-06-2009, 02:10 AM You know, watching the SEC Championship game highlights right now- I really didn't like Florida coming out in all white with those new helmets. Orange helmets, blue jerseys. That's when we roll. Not like it woulda mattered today, but still. Really didn't dig the all white.
GMScud 12-06-2009, 02:13 AM How about CJ Spiller for Heisman? That guy is a monster. Ingram is great, but Spiller is out of this world.
Spiller was so close to going to Florida, too. He's from right outside Gainesville, FL, and after Tebow committed to Florida he was trying really hard to get Spiller to join him. Everyone thought it was between Florida and Florida St for him, and out of nowhere he chose Clemson.
I can only dream of how crazy it would have been to have Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, and CJ Spiller on the field at the same time. Holy crap that would have been fun.

Spiller has been amazing right out of the gate < freshman > . The NCAA needs a playoff system , could be 4-5 or 6 teams and I would be happy . Had Spiller gone to UF < he should have > , you guys would have been very scary , hope Spiller does not end up in NY/Philly/NO or Minnesota . Have a great weekend guys ... go skins !
Trample the Elderly 12-06-2009, 09:44 AM If Nebraska had an offense, they'd have beat the crap out of Texas. I don't see why everyone is saying Spiller is a better RB than Gerhart? They're two different kinds of backs. If it's Bama and Texas, I'm going with The Tide and their fat boy Cody. I like that guy. He looks like an overweight Heyer with skill. Tim Tebow lost a lot of respect IMO by being a little cry baby. I still like him though, just a little less.
12thMan 12-06-2009, 12:57 PM I was kind of surprised to see Tebow respond emotionally like that. But oh well, I guess. He'll go high in the draft, still. I think he blew his chances at a Heisman with his performance though.
12thMan 12-06-2009, 01:05 PM Somewhat off track here, but I'm increasingly frustrated with the media chasing and creating storylines and not acknowledging what they should. For instance, it seemed to me that Tim Tebow and Florida got more attention for what they didn't do instead of Bama stomping the crap out of them. I've also noticed that following Notre Dame games, whether it be NBC or ESPN, the story was always about Charlie Weis and his seniors. Win, lose, or draw the immediate interviews were always with Weis.
I felt bad for Connecticut after they beat Notre Dame, same with Stanford and Navy, how it was all about whether Weis was staying or going.
