Over and done with. Somewhere, Miami Dolphin fans are cursing quietly at Saban's success. LOL.

i thought that was pretty tasteless that bama didnt kneel out the game, but kept running the ball at the end. but whatever. unfortunate that we didnt get to see texas at their best tonight.

I was hoping if we DID get a QB, it would be him instead of Bradford or Tebow...but now, who knows about his arm. It seemed serious. Anyone hear the exact injury he suffered?

Wow, rough article about Colt, especially when he was trying to throw the ball on the sidelines.

I thought Texas would win going into the game, but for a freshman QB to come into that game under those circumstances...an almost impossible task. Gilbert has potential though.

Hearing Colt's postgame interview on the field with Lisa Salters when he was on the verge of tears talking about how much he loves the game and how he would have given anything to be out there... ugh. Just gut wrenching. Poor kid.

What a sad way to end a great college career. But props to him for being the first guy on the sideline to cheer on Gilbert and the other teammates, for putting on that headset and taking on the role of sideline QB. He could have really sulked and even just hung out in the locker room but he didn't.

How do you feel about George Edwards as the new Gators' DC?

I like George Edwards. He did a good job for the Skins as a LB coach (he was one of the only coaches worth a darn on Spurrier's lame staff), and has plenty of experience in college and the pros. Obviously I'd rather have Charlie Strong, but I think this was a good hire by Florida. What do you think?
