I really don't care if Global Warming/Climate Change is real or not. I don't have to because I generally support all the remedies anyway. I am generally against pollution so I really don't care about Global Warming.

This climategate thing is interesting ( I have also heard being called "Warmaquiddick" ). It needs to be looked into.

The problem is that it is so hard to understand what these e-mails actually mean because I am not a scientist....and most people are not. So it would be nice to have some reputable scientists take a look at it and explain what is going on to everybody.

And now it appears that there is no data... no one has been able to see the real data for years and now all the data is gone so no one can recreate the calculations anyway.

Really? Thanks for clarifying, I wasn't sure the same team has been putting out all the research used by every geo-scientist.

I hear you piss in the sea when you go fishing...what impact do you think that has on the environment?

No different then someone at the beach taking a leak in the water. Nothing ever goes over the side of my boat but lines and a little pi$$ now and then. Nothing tics me off anymore then people throwing their trash out their windows, boat, or where erver else they toss their crap. I'm not saying that its a rep or dem thing about the reaserch its was an agenda by them to screw with the numbers. Now that we know the scientist have an agenda its what done about it that I'm concerned with. Right now on the left they are talking about going after the hacker not the scientist who screwed us.

Alright I was watching some Keith Olberman last night and MSNBC finally mentioned it. I guess Fox ran a piece that showed the John Stewart clip where he jokingly says Global Warming has been completely debunked. Well Fox convientely left out something Jon said immediately after that statement where he basically said that the whole covering up of key data just takes away some of the creditability of the “researchers”. So Olberman’s acknowledgment of the data cover up that discredits the Global Warming fundamentalist was only to call out Fox, not to mention that this is a serious current event.

Shows like O’Reilly and Hannity, or Olberman and Maddow obviously don’t break news and primarily report opinions. I would also guess most of their viewers are already well informed, or have already made up their mind supporting the ideals or values of the shows anchor, or are simply looking for a entertaining “news” program. So for Olberman to mention this doesn’t really count as reporting it, and not just because he only used it to attack Fox, but because of the style of his show (much like O’Reilly). During the 5-8 real news reporting this issue should be mentioned, because that is where true journalism is supposed to occur on the cable news networks (minus Chris Mathews).

All I know is that since the beginning of industrial revolution all these man made polutants rising up into the ozone and the atmosphere cant be good for the planet. Just like all the poluntants flowing into the Cheasepeake bay is not good for water life. Is it to the extent of the warming the Earth that the left is wanting you to believe, probably not. But say in 500 to a thousand years from now if the pace continues there will probably be very negative effects. Over population will probably be a relative issue as well in this country in the next 200 years. I think advances in technology will help, but if we start now trying to make changes now it cant hurt, can it?

Not just this country, the world.

As long as Firstdown doesn't piss in a pool Im swimming in , Im fine with him pissing in a river / sea . I just hope some grandma on her little yacht doesn't see too much of first and put him on youtube :)

Grandma would be laughing to hard to record anything and if she did she better have a zoom lense. I actually have a toilet on the boat but its reserved for the ladies because its nasty to deal with.

wouldn't one be alittle naive to think we can put all of this crap into the air, water, and underground, without any consequences? im no scientist, but it seems like common sense

What environmentally friendly restrooms are the fish using? Where do they take a piss? Oh, that's right...
