That may be so but the Vikes will have to play someone in the play offs. As much as I like Favre I think the Saints have the weapons to keep up with them and the defense to make Favres get frustrated in the pocket and throw some intereceptions. All you have to do is be able to get to him and rattle him a little. He starts throwing balls everywhere.

This is true. And the fact is that the Vikes may not make it to the NFC Championship game given a decent Divisional round opponent.

I still feel the Saints can handle them on a neutral field, and can beat them on any given day at Minnesota, but the Saints hold a very real advantage in the Superdome. That is why every game is so important to the Saints and their will be no let up or letdown.

And you were doing so well. Saints will lose at some point...let's hope it isn't at home in the playoffs.

And why do you feel the Saints will lose at some point? And don't give that illogical "because they're the Saints" answer. That's something a Cowgirl fan would come up with.

If they beat the Skins i dont see them losing to anyone else during the season.

I agree. And I am not a delirious blind faith fan. After the Patriots game I felt that the game next week at Atlanta would be the major obstacle. But, it appears Matt Ryan and Michael Turner will both likely be out. That neuters their offense and makes them a shell of what they were early in the year.

Skins have given the Saints problems in the past, the other games are very winable on the road and i just dont see them losing at home to Dallas or TB. Its the Skins or noone imo.

True, but you know this is a very different Saints team. Over the past few years their defense only put the fear of God into us Saints fans. Now they are making life miserable for our opponents and their fans.

I saw first hand what the new Saints can do as a team, coach Williams has done wonders with that defense and im sure he is looking to prove a point in this game vs the team that sent him packing.

I heard thats what he does to brees after each win and that also explains the brown spot on his face.

Because I believe defenses win championships. They'll have to run through 3 solid defenses to win it all while having to stop decent offenses (I am not impressed by the Saints defense). I got nothing against the Saints and would love to see them win it all but great defenses trump great offense every single time...it's the nature of things.

As for regular season it really doesn't matter whether they drop one or not once they clinch the the #1 seed. I think they'll drop one because they'll rest their players. I'm confidant Sean Payton is not stupid enough to play his players the entire season just to be the second team in NFL history to go 16-0.
