Of course he wants privacy, who wants their affairs to be made public? LOL

Seriously though nothing wrong at all with asking for privacy, but of course he must understand as a very public figure he's simply not going to get it.

I got no problem with him asking for privacy, but i wouldnt give it to him if i saw him out on the street. I would at least yell somthing like Get in the hole! or Not in my backswing! or i guess now i could yell Sinner! If he only played golf then I would have some compassion for him and his family regarding privacy. But as soon he plastered his face on every endorsement thrown his way he became a celebrity, no longer just a athlete. If he doesnt want the spotlight when things are bad then don’t allow the spotlight the rest of the time. Its absurd to me when celebrities complain about the paparazzi or fans always approaching them. If you do no interviews, no endorsements, no commericals, no photo ops, no guest apperencies, no magazines, no nothing you will be able to go to Walmart or cheat on your wife with little or no issues.

There's a fine line when it comes to celebrities, especially someone as big a celebrity worldwide as Tiger.

There are areas of their lives that they should reasonably expect some privacy toward.

What SHOULD be unfortunately has little bearing with........what is. When the dust settles, they are still a family in trouble and I wish them luck.

You know if he wanted privacy he could've avoided this whole thing by keeping his wang in his pants and not using it as a divining rod to find the scuzziest looking chick in the room to take to bed.

Before this the dude had all the privacy in the world (in terms of being a celebrity. i.e. He didn't have paparazzi following him around) When you have a clean record, nobody really cares too much about what you do with your life.

It's when they find out your scum that they probe for all the juicy details.

Turns out Tiger is just another scumbag running around on his wife.

To think none of this would have happened if he hadn't crashed his car. I suppose though that that cocktail waitress was probably planning to reveal their relationship at some point. She clearly is a publicity hound and jumped on this opportunity for more publicity.

I love my wife and can easily say here I would never cheat on her. I mean I really never would. But I'm also not a rich and famous person. It's easy for me to throw stones at Tiger and others who have performed similar "transgressions" but having been in the company of some of these athletes and seeing how many women repeatedly throw themselves at these guys (and girls) all day long, it's just a different world they live in.

I wanted to weigh in here to vent a frustration. I absolutely cannot stand how this story gets any sort of attention, let alone some focus on the national news broadcasts.

All over the US there are husbands cheating on wives and wives cheating on husbands. The fact that people spend so much time discussing Tiger's cheating saddens me because those people actually elevate famous people like Woods above the rest of us. All because he's in the public eye.

Seriously, who gives a flying eff if he cheated on Elin, or lied about it. He's just another guy cheating on his wife. That isn't news. I don't give a crap about his reputation, I don't give a crap about his image, the only thing I care about when it comes to Tiger Woods is watching him chase history as a golfer.

Charles Barkley said it best, "I am not a role model." People need to stop looking up to athletes and celebrities for anything other than the entertainment they provide. Until then, the masses glued to the tube clamoring for every rumor and piece of news will continue to look like trashy housewives who can't miss an episode of their trashy soap opera.

I've got better things to do with my life than give a shit if Tiger Woods is cheating on his wife. And the news has more important stories to air.
