Happy Thanksgiving everyone here on TheWarpath! That includes fans from other teams, without whom we would have no one to talk about! freddyg12 11-26-2009, 10:46 AM Happy Thanksgiving to all! Of the many things we have to be thankful for, we can add that at least we can enjoy this day w/out our struggling team playing on national tv! Longtimefan 11-26-2009, 10:49 AM Happy Thanksgiving to you too. The greatest day in the year to experience warmth and togetherness. Likewise to all my fellow Warpathers', be happy and be safe. SBXVII 11-26-2009, 11:08 AM Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. :) Let me be the first to share the Turkey Day catastrophy's.....;) We are going to my daughters for the dinner and they are going to deep fry the turkey. Well.... :) LOL my son and law did not thaw out the turkey last night which takes 7 hours to thaw, supposedly. All he had to do was thaw it out and put in in the fridge. He looked on-line and found that he could not refreeze the turkey so he left it in the freezer. LOL. Typical Dallas fans. ;) So we suggested putting the turkey in warm water ...not hot and let it thaw. Again he went on-line and found that your not supposed to put it in hot water. Go figure. LOL. My (Redskin inginuity) said put it in the oven for a half hour to thaw then put it in the deep fryer. So I guess the turkey will be cooked in the oven now. Gotta love first Thanksgivings. Hope you all remember yours and enjoy learning from your mistakes. Go Raiders. Sorry Sandtrap. MTK 11-26-2009, 11:30 AM You can thaw a turkey out in a bucket of cold water in about 6-7 hours. skinsfaninok 11-26-2009, 11:33 AM Happy turkey day!!!! 53Fan 11-26-2009, 11:34 AM Funny stuff SBXVII. My late sister was cooking crabs for the first time many years ago. My mom gets a call from my sister asking if she's doing something wrong. Seems like all the crabs keep crowding around the window on the front of the oven. Her husband was a Cowgirl fan. Go figure. |
