Man SmootSmack you are a real diplomat. I am just hoping that if I win this argument, that we will get a knew QB and everything will be great. GMSCUD has been making me believe that Campbell may be the answer for two years. I am tired of forcing myself to have faith. I am done with Campbell. I dont care who we put in that position. It cant be worse that JC. I need change, just for change. Give me Bartel, give me McDaniel, anyone but Campbell. So,

1) GMScud ruined the Redskins by telling you to believe in Campbell, and

2) you've decided that camp fodder you've never heard of before is better than Campbell.

I believe that's called "keepin' it real".

For your next post, you should explain to us how the tooth fairy caused DeAngelo Hall to ruin the team's confidence in Jim Zorn. After all, that's the realist position, is it not?

Look, right now, I would put you in, instaed of Campbell.

What a jerk I am! :)

Seriously though, as SmootSmack said, I sure as heck haven't been beating the JC drum for two years. For a while I preached patience with regard to JC because of all the chaos and constant change he's had to deal with.

Sometimes he looks good, sometimes he looks bad, but overall I just don't think he's ever really been put in a good position for success in any of his seasons with the Redskins.

And yeah, I'd take him over Jay Cutler right now in a second.

It is possible that I have mistaken GMSCUD for someone else. It may be you GT. Not sure, but I can see a bunch of Redskins fans in a bar fight right now kicking the shit out of each other. This season makes no sense to me.

And yeah, I'd take him over Jay Cutler right now in a second. So would anyone else, but a year ago, it would have been exactly the opposite.

Anyone could have looked at Cutler's stats last year and have seen a guy who definitely showed promise, but had not reached that next level yet. The more I looked and compared Campbell and Cutler last year, the less I could tell them apart. The difference is that Campbell has made significant (some...okay many, would disagree with my definition of 'significant') developmental strides in the face of adversity, and Cutler has just blamed others for his failures.

We'd be remiss if we didn't point out that the promise for Jay Cutler still exists, but the Bears have no high draft picks, and need to address three positions on the OL, get a complementary back, and one more wideout. IF Chicago does everything right, Cutler can get back to the pro bowl level he was at as soon as 2011. But that's two wasted years because the Bears (who easily could have been the Redskins) had no idea what made Cutler successful in Denver, and that's a problem.
