Orakpo candidate for Rookie of the Week

Orakpo is definitely in the competition for DROY; unfortunately for Orakpo, he's on losing team and losing teams tend not to get recognitions.. And not to mention that he's playing out of position, if he plays as DE full-time then it might be different story.. Although same thing can be said for Byrd, but Byrd probably is #1 in the competition right now though..

He has not been used that much lately in the LB role as the last weeks Cris Wilson has stepped in and got burned... I Like Wilson there he just needs to learn the position... He does not have the pass rush ability Rak has!!! A very bright spot on a dissapointing season.

EXAMPLE: GOAL LINE DEFENSE VS ATL! WILSON GIVES UP TD TO GONZALES!

I was glad with the idea of using Wilson more, as well.. We should have pretty much expected for Wilson to get burned often, especially when he was responsible for Gonzalez..

IMO, Blache should use cobra package often when we are playing teams with good TEs.. When we play teams with "we never have heard of" TEs, then use regular schemes or whatever.. So that way, Wilson and Orakpo would not get burned often..

At this point Id say let him play most downs just to get some experience. Zorn is such a f-ing lame duck, we need to go with a youth movement to see what we got and get some experience with Marko, Tryon, Barnes, Jarmon, and Pineapple Jesus.

My highlight is when Phat Albert pushed 3/4 of the Falcons teams back 8 feet in the D. Hall induced melee.
