Me too, but I'm sure it has something to do with blocking knowledge or something. Instead though they would rather bring someone on board who has no knowledge of the Skins play calls and blocking scheme and let him sit a few games to learn like Levi Jones.
me too also,I would absolutely frickin love it if they resigned Aldridge and gave him at the very least 10 carries in a game.I want to see somebody with some speed!

Awesome more guys with character issues. I sware this reign of terror should be dubbed Spurrier 2.0.

Since the OP did not provide a link to the story, I found one.

This is what we need... Didn't Betts just have a better day than Portis has all year?

I'd rather start Betts and Cartwright.
Honestly, what in the hell do they think we will get out of a 30 yo back? 30 yo running. I think that Betts and Cartwright did outstanding yesterday considering our line issues
Betts without the fumbles is just as good or better than Portis at this point. Rock isn't a slouch either. Larry Johnson is indeed washed up and wouldn't do any better than Portis behind this line either.

Well rumor has it Betts hurt his ankle. Portis played the kid who is afraid to ask for his bike back in the movie Friday and "got knocked the Fxxx out". Horton "who hears a who" inured his wittle toe. So now the team is looking into other options at RB and Safety.
Not sure what they will do with Big Mike out for 3-4 weeks and Heyer is banged up. I still say they would be better off bringing in a bunch of O-lineman who are young and healthy and find a way to get them on the field.

The move would be a total waste of money. You would be better served in drafting a low rounder RB than acquiring Johnson.

I don't understand why we are so pressed at the RB position? Portis, Betts, Cartwright, Alridge, Mason... Then no Mason. Now LJ? This is like the RB carousel. Is Zorn is channeling Spurrier lately?
I would think that Zorn and the FO would try to address.. Oh I don't know.. Maybe our laughably bad O-Line? JC is busy having happy feet and trying to keep his head attached to his neck and the Skins are worried about signing a RB?
Welcome to the real life version of Madden... Except with less winning.

Shit, this isn't Madden at all. Hell in Madden I won SBs with good ole Gus and JC. Too bad I couldn't hook up my cpu with my old madden '98 with some football player dolls like in Weird Science. I picked up a young FA QB from Philly called P. Harry. Broke every record in the book with that guy. Just drafted WRs with speed of 92+ and just aired it out. Guy made Drew Brees look like a bum.

This team smells worse than my farts right about now.....I'd rather pick up Maurice Clarrett fresh outta jail than LJ
