i agree Landry hasn't panned out.... but he needs to go back to SS, and not the FS, where, a playermaker is needed, he's better in the box..... we need to get a player like Kam Chancellor in the 2nd round or that guy berry from tenn. would be great..... i give him one more year before i pulled the trigger.
SS has to be able to tackle more so than a FS. Bottom line, there's no place on any defense for a player who can't tackle regardless of position, and Landry should be taken to task by his coaches in an effort to ensure his on field conduct no longer becomes an issue.
Disappointing? Yes.
A bust? No.
I recall Taylor having some struggles in his 3rd season as he appeared to take a step back before taking a big step forward in his final season.
I would like to see Landry become a regular at Redskins Park next offseason and show some maturity and leadership. He really needs work on his angles and tackling. Overall he just needs to become more consistent and I think that has to start with himself and his dedication to the game.

Landry goes weeks without making a play. The guy is invisible. When you draft a safety in the Top 10, which is almost NEVER done, that guy must be a playmaker. Taylor was. Landry is not.
thank you MATTY..
to GOAT. ur WAY, over-reacting bro.
take it Easy on him, there are MUCH worse safties in the league.
bust = no way.
get him back to his natural position next year PLEASE.
and u'll all love Laron again.
piss poor attempt at tackling turner angers anyone, it's a mistake, lets hope he corrects it.
that is all.

He does need to make himself more available during the offseason to demonstrate he's committed to the game. It's obvious Landry still has a little growing and learning to do, at present he's not living up to his lofty draft status.

It's all D. Hall's fault.

he doesn't understand that he is THE last line of defense. going for the big hit is great.... but if you miss, its a touchdown. just tackle, for christ sakes

He's not a bust but he certainly hasn't panned out like he was supposed to have.

See M. Bowen's comment about Landry & also listen to what Blache says about him. With his range he prevents big plays. How many times has a wr gotten behind him?
I think his tackling has always been poor but in his rookie year he would hit anybody. I think it all changed when Jacobs ran over him last year. Seems like he's protecting himself.
Overall, Landry is a great free safey in the passing game, but his tackling has become pathetic. I do agree w/yall on that. Good thing is that he'll be embarassed by it.
