Landry should thank Hall for getting him out of there and for getting the heat off him regarding that personal foul.

Coaches getting involved in an altercation with players is the ultimate fail. And it wasn't like Smith was trying to break it up, only make it worse. Can coaches get fined for that sort of thing?

That's probably going to be the only punishment, I doubt the league will hand out any other punishment.

Think of it this way, if DeAngelo Hall had not been there none of this would have happened. Two wrongs do not make a right, there's no way Hall can be absolved of complete responsibility because he was someplace doing something he had absolutely no business doing or being.

One of our players had just hit thier QB out of bounds on their sideline. It's a normal reaction in the NFL for both players and coaches to come to the rescue of their player in such circumstances, espically when the the play resulted in a PF being called by the side judge.

BL, Hall was where he should not have been, all that happens after that is on him. He has a fabulous defense however, it was someone elses' fault that he was WRONG, just blame it on the Falcon's coaches, they did it.

I get what you're saying I don't think D.Hall was right for what he did but I understand why he got riled up.

Because its kinda like if your ex-gf walked up to you and punched you in the junk. If I did that to a guy I wouldn't expect him to just sit there and take it.

So how come you're not complaining about Haynesworth walking over and joining the altercation?

And you're so full of it...watch the tape again Hall got Landry out of there, that's why "Landry walked away". Hall was running towards both Landry and Ryan, and you clearly see the ATL sideline get on Landry.

I don't have a problem with Haynesworth coming over to play enforcer. The damage was already done. But fine..we'll just agree to disagree.

Given the reaction of the ATL sideline, either Landry would have gotten in an altercation with them or Hall. Either way the damage was done by Landry's late hit and the ATL's sideline response to the hit.

Although I actually think what Haynesworth did was helpful (he shoved half of the ATL sideline away from the Redskins player) he still got called for a PF.

In the end, this shouldn't have happened if Landry had not done something that has been a problem in his discipline since he was a rook. What is upsetting is that fans like you have such biased opinion against Hall, that it takes away from the bigger picture of this situation. The league should punish both Hall and Smith, and the Redskins defensive coaching staff need to get on Landry's ass about the late hit.
