Bummer, I seriously think this guy will be the next great coach. His father was a coach, former NFL player, has great enthusiasm, etc. I would throw gobs of money at him, maybe he can add a release clause.

Would you not love to take a run at Peyton Manning for QB coach when he retires?

No.

For offensive coordinator. Seriously, he knows the game better than anyone and has the leadership and work ethic to be a GREAT coach.

I don't know, I was coming back here to ask you all what you all thought of Tom Moore, the SR. OC of the Colts possibly being our next HC? I have not heard anyone mention him and as "prolific" as the Colts offense has been since 99 he might be able to do something with giving us a high scoring offense. He has 32yrs in the league and 22 as an OC, 12 yrs with the Colts.

Maybe get Polian's son as GM and have Tom Moore as HC? I guess P.Manning would work out well as QB coach......maybe. He would be able to teach the offense to whoever we brought in as QB.

^ I was looking at Tom Moore's bio on the Colts site and thought they had him listed as 42yrs old even though he looked older. Then after Googling him I see he's like 70yrs old. Maybe he could bring in one of his Assistants that knows the offense to take over after 4-5 yrs perhaps when he retires. That way he can help establish a decent offense here and help train a future HC for continuity?

With 11 quarterbacks on a pace to pass for more than 4,000 yards, it's pretty clear that the passing game has become more important than a running offense. Sure, it helps to have the balance of the New Orleans Saints, who have Drew Brees' passing backed by the No. 5 running offense. But the rules encourage passing, and to win consistently, teams need a quarterback who can throw for 225 to 250 yards a week and put up at least 22 points. For what it's worth, none of the top four rushing teams have winning records.

Saw this on ESPN,how/or does this effect your list of HC candidates?
