44Deezel 11-06-2009, 12:17 AM Did anyone hear the callers on Lavar's show today? Just ridiculous stuff like an old Redskins intern who said everyone had to turn around and stare at the wall when Snyder was walking from his suite to the elevator. They were told on day 1 never to look Snyder in the eye. Too funny.
Skinny Tee 11-06-2009, 12:17 AM Good post. Snyder has been generous with his money as far as charities go, and that's great. But him giving a few million is like me or you giving $50. Big deal. Snyder was nice to Blache and his wife. So what?
I don't agree with Riggin's assessment that the Danny has a "dark heart." I don't think he's a bad human being. But I think he's stubborn, has a massive ego (see sign/t-shirt confiscation), and he has insisted on making football decisions for 10 years despite having zero football background/experience.
Now THAT is keeping it real!...lol...well done.
Lotus 11-06-2009, 12:21 AM LMAO at the point in bold.
As to the Mr. Snyder thing, notice that Gibbs NEVER called him Mr. Snyder. Always just simply "Dan." Good for you, Joe. If he was in my high school class and he came to the reunion with that nonsense, I would tell him exactly where he could put his Misters.
I insist that you call me Mr. Lotus. :)

Seriously, I think it comes down to how short he is. If only he was over 6 feet tall, we may have a winning team.
I've told this story on this board before, but I'll tell it again since this is a fitting venue. When my dad was a partner at his former law firm, he was the lead attorney representing Snyder's communications company in a case. This was right around the time he bought the Skins if I remember correctly. Anyway, he had more than one face-to-face meeting with the Little Danny. My dad is a pretty reserved guy, and chooses his words carefully. Well, when I asked him what he thought of Snyder, without hesitation he said, "what an arrogant little piss ant." He did say he had some nice cigars though.

dallas game wrong game to do it at and a walk out isn't the way to go what they are planning in clevland is a lot better in my opinion waiting until after kick off to go into the stadium
SBXVII 11-06-2009, 12:56 AM Walking into a game late is kinda idiotic.
I'll agree Dallas may not be the game to do it at, but I think it already has a full head of steam the way it sounds and kinda hard to say..." Oh wait, lets change the game.....we'll do it at some other game..."
Ruhskins 11-06-2009, 01:55 AM If people want to "protest" the Redskins, then just stop following them and stop supporting them. Give up your season tickets, stop buying merchandise, stop following them on TV...so basically recreate what is going on in Jacksonville.
None of these stupid little protests or raising money to buy stupid billboards on buses or attacking the owner personally is going to change anything or asking the owner to sell the team, none of these things will work and are just delusional wishful thinking.

so i should just pack up everything and bail on the team i love and sit and sulk by myself, pretty sure thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard, this isn't iraq or chinia, so i can and do what ever i want in the good old us of a, and thats what me and alot of other people are doing, and doing our stupid little signs are doing something did you not notice he banned the signs at the stadium it's obviously getting to him and he won't sell the team but he will get our message and maybe he will change his practices, i guess when you face any adversity in your life you quit, thats not my style and never will be i've fought for my right to say what i want so i will
SBXVII 11-06-2009, 10:27 AM mlm, I think it's idiotic to bail also, However there are those of us who don't have season tickets so we don't have to worry about getting screwed on tickets already purchased. All we have to do is simply not go to a game and not purchase Skins attire.
Those of you who have season tickets are already screwed and should not throw away your money. Walking out on one game to get your point across should not hurt you. Eating prior to the game and limiting your purchases at the game should not hurt you. These are the things people should be doing to try and hit DS in the pocket.
