The latest edition of Rolling Stone(Shakira on the cover) has an article by Matt Taibbi about Dan Snyder entitled 'Worst Owner Ever'. Personally, I think it is hillarious so if you agree with the title I suggest picking up a copy. My favorite line 'Dan Snyder's ownership of the Redskins is a tour de force in executive douchery'......awesome

I think at this point he just may have surpassed Al Davis as the most helpless, idotic, and hated owner in the NFL....

Yeah decent read, a bit over the top though and he pointed out Fletcher as one of the bad moves. Couldn't be any more wrong there, wish we had a whole team full of London Fletchers.

Agreed, Taibbi is usually over the top, he referred to Goldman Sachs as 'A Giant Vampire Squid sucking on the face of Humanity', so it's more for entertainment purposes than insight. I also just think it's amazing how quickly our team's struggles have crept into pop culture

THAT would call the authors credibility into question.

The Rolling Stone reports on Sports, this would be like getting a recipe from Popular Mechanics. What a waste of time.

I don't think we need a publication to tell us this, at this point my concern is, will he fix it?

I was thinking about that comparison the other day. It struck me that at least Al Davis had a great run. He was a pioneer of the AFL, had all of those great teams in the 1970's, won a few Championships, proved himself as an innovator in the league, made some great personnel decisions. The league ultimately passed him by, and clearly he is a complete nut job at this point, but its not like he never accomplished anything. I doubt Dan Snyder will ever have a bust in Canton. So comparing Dan Snyder and Al Davis, as much as that would likely horrify Snyder, actually does a disservice to Al Davis.
