The chances of this team going to the playoffs,
are about as high as me winning 100 million dollars tomorrow lol.. 3-13 with the 4 th pick

Sounds about right...I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd pick though. Don't forget we lost to the chiefs, and they will be in the mix. I only see the Rams / Bucs / and maybe Cleveland worse than us...and the Bucs and Browns could pull a lucky few out, unlike us. The rams should be awarded the #1 pick right now.

Well I won't stop watching ft ball in general, just out skins!! I will sit back and enjoy my Sunday ticket the rest of the season. Shit I would rather be at work than watching that bs every wk

Skinsfan, I won't stop watching football either, I'll just start watching teams that know how to play, like the Colts or the Saints. I watched the Saints beat up the Giants a couple of weeks back and that was a lot of fun. Much better than the Skins/Chiefs game that same week. And my Sunday was much more pleasant.

The Redskins just freed up my Sunday afternoons for the rest of the year. There is so much I can do with 3 more hours in the week now, that I use to waste on this team. Where is that Honey Do list?

hahaha that was funny. I might as well do the same.

My man above said it best. Marty is a HOF coach, had a plan, and had a solid group of guys that stayed together and started to believe. On top of that they had pride. We have a bunch of bums on offense that just don the jersey every Sunday/Monday to get paid in my humble opinion, with the exception of Cooley of course. No plan, no real coach, and no real O line or to be honest not much in terms of skilled position guys to go 8-8. I have a better chance of having a 3 some with the Girls Next Door than us pulling off the miracle.

Problem is, we all scratched our heads as to why we started 0-5 that year...we are now a little surprised at how we managed 2 wins this year. We are losing our next 5 games hands down...did you happen to take a gander at the schedule?

If Lewis can get the offense a bit more up to snuff than on MNF we could pull off an upset of the Falcons. Falcons didn't look too good last weekend or the weekend before. It is a long shot, but possible.

You left out the Lions and the Titans.

There are lots of teams eyeing the bottom of the barrel this season.

Well, no offense to you or your "man", but he's not of HOF caliber. Sure, his regular season stats are HOF caliber, but his postseason performance is what lost him jobs...in fact, he's one of, if not THE worst postseason coach EVER. And that is saying a lot. He's only 5-13 in the playoffs, that's a .278 record folks. For anyone with 10 or more appearances, only Steve Owen is worse at 2-8. To me, what makes you a HOF coach is not how well your team does during the regular season (and Marty had some KILLER talent over the years) it's getting them to "the next level". We often talk about QB's if they don't win it all, we can't consider them one of the best ever...well, why does the same not apply to coaches? He's never even won a conference championship. From 94-2006, the man didn't win a playoff game, and he had amazing teams in 95, 97, 04, and worst of all 06. How can you explain his ineptitude in the playoffs when his regular season was so great? Of his 21 years, he came in first or second in his division 16 times (including 13 in row). Only came in worse than 3rd place 1 time! So how is it he couldn't win anything significant, and couldn't even make it to a super bowl???

Dude, this is still a respectable fanbase. We smoke freebase.

You're right. Sorry I don't know what got into me.

I love the enthusiasm, I really do...but only see this team winning 1 more game all season.
Here's the remaining schedule:
Atlanta...L
Denver...L
Dallas...L
Eagles...L
Saints...L
Raiders...W
Giants...L
Dallas...L
Chargers...L

That's a 3-13 season folks unless we can somehow manage a miracle on offense.
