Rock's 1 carry was easily the most explosive an RB has looked for the SKins all year....he should get more carries.

I don't understand why Portis continues to be the feature back, he is hurt and not productive...give someone else who is hungry a chance.

100% Correct. Let Rock Start!

That guy showed 100% heart last night, I wished everyone played like him.

Haynesworth's reaction makes me feel very happy about our signing of him. Yes, it's an absolutely ridiculous amount of money, but the D-Line and defense as a whole is solid this year. Every team gives up a big play or two to someone who can run a 4.2. it happens, and the offense gave how many turnovers, 4? how many within our 30 yrd line? it was so tough to watch last night.

I love Cooley- 100% but the way Davis got involved last night makes me think with Cooley's broken ankle and season over with, we should look to trade Moss, Portis, and Cooley. between the three of them I bet we can acquire a first, second, and third round pick for this upcoming draft. Yoder can block, Davis can catch.

We won't resign Campbell, and we'll bring in a newly drafted qb with offensive weapons that are young and can grow together for the next 10 years. We have to that side of the ball up, w/o a doubt.

With Haynesworth feeling the lack of anything from his offensive counterparts, it's clear we have a fired up defense that's asking for any bit of help.

I'd say Cooley *was* worth a 2nd or 3rd -- now I'm not sure with the broken ankle/foot. Portis and Moss aren't worth squat IMO.

Carter's sack total speaks volumes about Albert's value- not only his he a monster, but he makes everyone else better. The only knock i agree with is that he needs to be in better shape (to play more plays) otherwise, the man is dominant.
Yep.. they were pointing out how Carter has all of these sacks compared to last year.. and vanden bosch now has 0

Well to be fair I think we caught the Eagles thinking pass and he did have a hugh hole right up the middle.
I noticed this as well, but Rock still hit the hole quick and hard.

I don't know that one run justifies that.

To those who question Haynesworth stamina and say he's "always" out of breath and on the bench, note these stats regarding playing time of various players vs. the eagles:

Playing time vs. Eagles (corrected) - Redskins 360 - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/weblogs/redskins/2009/oct/29/playing-time-vs-eagles-corrected/)

Here are the unofficial playing time totals for the Redskins against Philadelphia (includes plays negated by penalties, but not pre-snap penalties like false start and delay of game).

DEFENSE (58 snaps)

DL: Kedric Golston 34, Lorenzo Alexander 9, Jeremy Jarmon 17, Albert Haynesworth 42, Phillip Daniels 18, Cornelius Griffin 30, Andre Carter 56.

LB: London Fletcher 58, Rocky McIntosh 50, Brian Orakpo 52, Chris Wilson 5.

DB: LaRon Landry 58, Carlos Rogers 58, DeAngelo Hall 58, Justin Tryon 27, Fred Smoot 8, Reed Doughty 9, Chris Horton 49.

-Haynesworth played in 42 of 58 (72.4%) of the defenisve snaps vs. the Eagles.
-By comparison, Cornelius Griffen was only on the field for 30 snaps (51.7%)
-The only Defensive lineman on the field more than Haynesworth was Andre Carter.
-Haynesworth weighs 350lbs, Griffin weighs 303, andCarter weighs 253.

Now, I don't know Big Albert's average % of defensive snaps played over the course of the year, but its most certainly more than he ever played in Tennessee. As big and heavy as he is, its truly impressive - and a testament to his "heart," - that he is playing as many snaps as he is. Haynesworth definitely "wants it." Now, our organization has other problems besides its players' attitudes, but i can't help thinking that if the other 53 players on the roster "wanted it" as bad as Haynesworth, we wouldnt be 2-5 right now.

Call me crazy because I'd trade both of them. Actually, I'd cut Moss's stupid ass if I couldn't trade him, or put him special ed teams.

Wow, that's a LOT of hate for the best receiver we've had since the Monk/Clark days.

This must be true how many players and former players say the same thing..

So how long would it take for your newly acquired receivers to accumulate a 1,500 yard season, or make multiple pro-bowls? You can't replace talent of that caliber and expect the same level of production. If Moss were to go to any team in our division he would return to being the superstar he always was. Cooley is the best TE in NFL IMO so he wouldn't go anywhere. If those two were old, and at the end of their careers I'd agree. But both of them still have a lot of Football in them. And we can use all the playmakers we can attain. We just need someone who can "give them the damn ball".
