I just dont know anymore...I cant trust any move by the FO as long as Vinny is running things. Thats because our O-Line is worst than Packers and the Lions. If Williams plays decently, I could see him staying there if Jones takes over at LT. Heyer back to RT , Williams RG and Jones LT when up to speed. He is not a replacement for Portis and he is not a featured back. Not sure why we did not cut our losses with Betts now or tried to trade him for a 5th or 6th rounder. Would have like to see Aldridge get some playing time on KR or as a 3rd down back. Realistically though...did any of us think Heyer was a legit starting LT? I expected him to give up a couple sacks...and he apparantly did. I didn't watch the game for the first time in years. I choose to be happy again. Levi Jones will start after the bye...I guarantee it. Heyer aint a horrible RT though. We basically now have 4 Tackles that are very similar...they all kinda SUCK :) Its just that Levi probably sucks less than the others...assuming he knew the playbook! (excluding Samuals of course) The front office apparently did. Heyer was an undrafted free agent. Most of us probably figured he would be a backup, someone who could hold up for a game or two -- but certainly not a full-time starter. What the fans correctly see as a stop-gap measure, the front office wrongly sees as a long term answer. Yet again, guess who was right?
