So far it's been pretty even. Hopefully VT makes some halftime adjustments and plays better in the second half. We haven't been doing too much on offense, just enough to stay in the game. D was lookin good except for the big play they gave up that led to the touchdown.

This halftime seems twice as long. Yes, we definitely have to step it up on O and stay consistent on D.

Everything since the half has been horrible, starting with the kick.

Gave this game away, unless they can get the onside kick and do something with it.

Yeah pretty much. Amazing how we can limit Nesbitt to 1 pass for 51 yards the entire game but we can't stop his rushing in the second half to save our lives. That was the worst second half breakdown in college football I feel like I've seen in a while. Just once I'd like to see VT stay in contention for the national title all season. It's nice being a ranked team season after season but we always finish with just enough losses to stay out of national title contention.

I would say overrated is why the hokies get the rankings. Either way its a good GT team; the triple option seemed to give all sorts of trouble to VT. I think its fair to say the scheme really confused the hokies rather than just traditional running.

Either way there were right in the game till the end.

Man, that was a great game -- I just loved the look on Bud Foster's face as GT was racking up 309 yards rushing!!

F the Hokies.

The tripple option is only a good offense if you are playing with the lead and can play great defense. GT was not doing anything special besides playing keep away. If the Hokies could have capitalized earlier and had the lead going into the half, it would have been a much different ball game. Essentially that one scoring drive off of that one big pass play in the first half was the difference. 9 times out of 10 VT would have won that game. It was just GT's day. I effin hate GT more than I hate Miami.
