What's wrong with the Redskins?

I have a couple redskins on my fantasy team and know ones calling for me to sell my team.

One area we overlook sometimes in light of the obvious issues (OL depth, age, lack of an organizational plan) is our coaching staff. Looking at our coaching staff, outside of maybe 3 coaches (Gray, Olividatti and Steve Jackson) I can't think of anyone that another team would scoop up quickly if they were available. We've got a bunch of coaches that are just 'guys'.

There's a reason Bugel was sitting at home by the pool for years, John Palermo was in college, Chris Meidt was at an NAIA Div.III school, etc. We don't have young, hungry assistants that are cutting edge, we're stale and stagnant (another remnant of the Gibbs 2.0 era that I loathe more and more everyday) and the fact that they were holdovers from the previous coaching staff didn't do any service to Zorn.

For years we've been stuck in the mud as a franchise, surely from above, but also from the aspect of the coaching staff. Hopefully the new regime will bring in an entirely new staff, fresh faces and ideas to bring us current and renew our competitiveness.

I mean I always single out Hixon as arguably one of the least successful coaches in professional football, having never developed a player, but you're absolutely right there's actually a trend of mediocrity there throughout. Dude, you and Paintrain hit the nail on the head. EVERYONE who follows or looks into this team realizes there are fundamental problems from the top down in this organization. Top of the pyrimid if you will, #1 danny- no head for how a football team is ran or constructed. #2 lil danny has no idea how a football front office is constructed. #3 lil dickie has no eye for football talent, THEREFORE, no eye for football tallent evaluator... etc so on and so on. VERY SAD, sad for us as fans, sad for the team, sad SITUATION. hail to the redskins...

Everyone knows the answer, even the pundits on NFL.com...you need to draft good linemen (both offensive and defensive) and then develop them yourself unless you're insanely good at finding cast offs who play great for you (see New England). Who is the best team in the league? hate to say it on this site...but its the Giants why? They have homegrown talent on the trenches, they draft well and then develop.

I want to know how Joe Bugel still has a job...he hasn't had much to work with but it seems like Chris Samuels has gotten worse, Heyer hasn't stepped up, Rhinehart hasn't been developed...that all points to Buges.

The reason Joe Bugel has a job is because he stoll is living on his past reputation with Gibbs and the hogs. What has he or the team done lately. He is not the entire problem but he has not been a strong influence on the FO to draft O-Line since he returned. You would think his opinion would carry some weight with the Front Office regarding bringing in young O-Lineman. Bugle always down playing the line like it's going to be ok. Its time for him to go call BINGO after the season.

dc.. where players and coaches alike come to finish their careers

The issue with the redskins is at the QB position. Jason Campbell's lack of confidence has effected the who offense. We need to pick up Jeff Garcia to finish the season.

Because Cerrato is Snyder's bitch, and Snyder is a crazy glue sniffing fantasy football owner. Yeah, I think that wraps it up.

nice, and there is no wayyy jc is the prob, he is not the solution but def not the problem he is no brees but he could start for atleast 6 or 7 teams right now and make them better, raiders and browns for starters

I often wonder if Bugel is not the problem and part of the reason why we don't target more OL.
