Jon Gruden is distancing himself from reports that he's in line for head coach jobs with the Redskins or the University of Louisville. For your own sake, Jon, distance yourself from the Redskins job. Distance yourself from it all the way to Louisville. Read it (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2009/10/jon-gruden-distances-himself-from-redskins-louisville-coaching-jobs/1).

Comments Vinny Cerrato made that we are commenting on come Via the DC Sports Bog (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2009/10/cerrato_on_the_circling_vultur.html)

Then there are times he says stuff that juts raises your ire. So you feel you need to respond. This is the case here. And surprisingly, Vinny is miffed at the media.
But too bad. The media is kicking Vinny's ass and he doesn't appreciate it.

I have said many times what Gruden is saying here in the end. I too feel for coaches whose job security is publicy scrutinized in the media on a daily basis. It has to be tough for anyone having to endure daily redicule while trying to concentrate on the task at hand. For all those who say it comes with the territory, and it's something all coaches realize they may have to deal with when they take the job, I say to them, try it in your daily life.
If I'm a prospective coach out there who already has a job, I would think long and hard before taking this one. The more Snyder is rebuffed by prospects who know the score, the more he may be willing to take a look at the man in the mirror and come to understand the reasons why.

A proofreader is useless if you can't read.
