Got a like a guy who calls it likes he sees it (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/12/carlos-rogers-says-redskins-blame-starts-with-the-ownership/)...and that probably isn't interested in a new contract with the Skins.

read the same thing in the wash. post, but unlike PFT, they didn't isolate the quote & try to make it sound like he 'called out ownership.' He said it, but it was one of those comments about how everyone is to blame.

Yeah he just basically said the blame starts at the top and goes all the way down. I didn't take it as a call out necessarily, he was just stating the obvious. As for him not interested in staying I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

Not surprising, but different hearing that kind of comment coming from someone on the inside. With Carlos, his contract status may have something to do with it. He's on the last year of his rookie deal and may be looking to move on, hence he feels that any comment he makes cannot be but so detrimental to him.

I've been impressed w/Rogers this year. He's played well & after the losses he's seemed very frustrated & unhappy, like his heart is more in it than in the past.

I feel bad for the guy; he has trouble making plays on the ball, not just catching it, sometimes he gets beat when he's in good position. He made a great play on S. Smith on sunday though in the end zone.

that's impressive...for a player to publicly put at least some of the onus on on the owner takes guts and for what it's worth I'm glad someone has done it.

I just hope we can franchise / trade him so he doesn't walk for "nothing." A 3rd round comp pick in 2011 just isnt going to cut it... why are there so many hard feelings between rogers and the management/ownership again? i know it seems they've been down on him for several years now.

I never knew their was hard feelings between him and the FO? He made a general comment which just about anyone who follows the team knows. Its true with any business not just football its starts at the top. Some at the top will say they made mistakes some won't but they know it starts at the top.

I've never heard of anything, just his demotion last year to Hall. Blache was maybe down on him some. He's stepped up this year though.
