I would have to go with JC. Given their talents and abilities to command games, JC is the leader. I think that JC is better suited for a play action style offense that is not so RUN heavy (a la the Patriots).
Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?OptimalOne 10-20-2009, 02:24 AM I would have to go with JC. Given their talents and abilities to command games, JC is the leader. Of course I don’t know of any QB that does. GMScud 11-23-2009, 10:36 PM Watching MNF, and Vince is looking really good. Figured I'd give this thread a bump. Right now I just don't know who I'd take. I wouldn't say Tennessee's WR's are any better or worse than ours. Our TE's are much better. But they have a nice O-line and Chris Johnson. At this point I'd say Young has a lot more upside, but I'd probably rather have Jason starting right now. Kalisto2010 11-23-2009, 11:58 PM Matt Leinert over Vince Young? I'm glad none of you are GM's;) Every other QB on that list are proven losers. Vince Young is now 22-11 as a starter. And tonight he proved he can make plays to put his team in a position to win games. Something none of those QB's most of you chose can't do. mlmdub130 11-24-2009, 12:46 AM what a great game mnf has not dissapointed all year, vince lead a pretty good job to end the game, he could pan out, i hope he does i really like the guy and think he has what it takes SmootSmack 11-24-2009, 12:52 AM Leinart can still be successful in this league in my opinion. Happy to see Young (with tremendous help from Chris Johnson) bounce back from all his issues and contribute. Defensewins 11-24-2009, 12:59 AM Matt Leinert over Vince Young? I think getting to sit and learn the offense they for a couple of years must have really helped him out. Oh and how about the option being run a handful of times? Agreed. I felt bad for him with all he went through last year. He's doing a great job and looks like an impressive offensive weapon. In his young career, that's his 8th game winning drive in the 4th quarter or OT. Throw that up there with his 22-11 record... I'd say Tennessee has themselves a starting QB for a while. Good for VY. I loved watching him play at Texas. GMScud 11-24-2009, 01:06 AM Man Young looked really good. I think getting to sit and learn the offense they for a couple of years must have really helped him out. Oh and how about the option being run a handful of times? Very few teams have the personnel to do it, but man, the Titans do it well. Their option is different from the 'Phins option. Tennessee does run action in one direction from the O-line, and then swings VY and Chris Johnson out in the opposite direction. It works nicely. |
