I was really disappointed in Hall - if you look carefully he missed TWO tackles to end the game - first a 3rd down run (the RB pushed by him on a second effort) and then a 9 yard QB run. I guess the interception-TD makes up for it, but still -- learn to TACKLE. damn.

I still believe we could be a top-10 team with a good coach. We could be next year's comeback team -- like Miami 2008 or Denver 2009. The best analogy for this team is when I play Madden using the Colts and lose to the Rams -- because I call the wrong plays and don't execute them well. The team could be good, but we're playing like stink.

What I like about Shanahan is he won in Denver with a strong offensive line. If he comes I'd hope he drafts ALL offensive line. And maybe snag a franchise QB in the draft.

Btw, I thought Josh McDaniels was an idiot for getting rid of Cutler --> but he looks like a genius, at least for now. Good for him. Wish we had a good coach we could believe in..

Brian Orakpo - Man what a crappy draft pick. 2.5 sacks? 2.5 SACKS? That's it? Lets put things in perspective. Bruce Smith had 200. Michael Strahan had 141.5 and he wasn't even a 1st round pick!!!!!!! 2.5 career sacks is simply unacceptable. Can't believe I ever defended you and trust me you're not going to get into the hall of fame with 2.5 sacks.

McDaniels came from a no player is bigger than the team attitude environment. The Pats let go of some good talent but there structure is so good it didn't matter. Brady is hurt no problem plug Cassell in we can go 11-5.

Zorn: College offensive passing game. He needs to go b4 we lose to KC.
Stephon Heyer: You're right on this point, but you left out Batiste.
Bryon Westbrook: Just a dumb play.
DeAngelo Hall: He needs to work on his tackling. Tackling Drills All Next Week.
Joe Gibbs: Not to blame at all, this is still Gibbs team, Zorn has the D and the running plays from Gibbs, the problem is the passing game, and playcalling. Look at the good players that he brought in.
Orakpo: Good player at DE, they need the let him play DE not linebacker. King beat him for the touchdown, Zorn is HC he needs to change that today.
Derek Anderson goes 2-17: And people say JC is a bad QB, look at the alternatives.
I'm open for almost anyone to come in as HC now, Grimm or almost anyone from the Gibbs coaching tree.

Horton, Moore, Tryon, Hall, Jarmon, Orakpo, Haynesworth...Gibbs didn't bring any of those guys in.

I understand that it's easy to just say all blame goes to Cerrato and all credit goes to Gibbs...but let's be real here. Yes, Gibbs brought in some great players and did some great thing his second time around. But he did also make some big personnel blunders (I didn't even mention the Campbell trade which wasn't just a swap of first rounders and could end up being a blunder as well) that have negatively impacted us. There's no getting around that

^ Gibbs 2.0 was a failure for the most part but it was exiciting to have he come back.

No one has mentioned Mike Sellers. He got called out big time by Brian Billick for his non-blocking on the safety and for last weeks goalline non block. I guess none of our coaches mentioned how to block to him last week b/c he did the same thing this week. He tried to run around the corner instead of blocking the first person he came accross. I guess that's what CP was trying to tell the coaches.

Hm i am not sure it was a failure. I thought it was a bit above average. He got some great players beside the crappy ones. We also made it to the playoffs a couple times, with seemingly lackluster talent. You have to put that on coaching and discipline.

Gibbs 2.0 ran way better than the mess we have now. I love the Zman, but as SS said it is clear he in over his head. He isn't getting the best out of his players, some horrendous playcalling along with bad game management.

Yep -- I don't know what's happened to him. Other than the fact that he just got a raise...

Right now this is just the extension of the Gibbs 2.0, for the most part this team is what Gibbs built, esipically on offense.

Are you taking about the players or the offensive plays? Sure the run game is quite similar, but it worked a hell of a lot better with Gibbs. Also minus the two-timeout botch, Gibbs did a pretty good job in management.

Also he kept a team together, after a couple terrible starts; I highly doubt Zorn has that ability. If we lose next week the players are going to start giving up on him. We can already see the impacts of the lack of discipline both at Skins park and during games.

Yeah Gibbs player eval did have some flaws, but he got Cooley, Landry, Sean Taylor. I put a decent amount of blame on the FO this year, but Gibbs 2.0 owns Zorn any day IMO.
