I felt this way when Zorn was initially hired, and what has transpired these last 21 games with him at the helm has only reinforced my beliefs. Hiring Jim Zorn as HC was a massive mistake. The whole way that Snyder and Cerrato went about the hiring, with hiring him as OC first and then promoting to HC, was a colossal failure. Zorn clearly is not ready to be a HC in this league. Management needs to cut their losses and admit what a huge mistake they made by hiring him in the first place.

According to a Washington Post poll 75% say yes.

They should run one on Vinny and Blache.

If he gets fired, it won't be until after the season. Otherwise, we lose all credibility with any of the big name coacheas that Snyder lusts over.

Lose credibility? What creditability are you talking about? HA!
That's funny.

This team has so many areas of dysfunction, firing the coach is just a small beginning to what really needs to be done to get this team back on track. Some players should be looking over their shoulders as well.

Management IS the problem. The coaching and the player personnel issues are just the symptoms of a much bigger problem that is our FO.
It is time for the fire Vinny signs at the stadium.

I may come up for a game just so I can raise a fire Vinny sign at the game. It is time.

Man, I am just so sick with the situation this team is in. The bad thing is, I am not even surprised. The Redskins are in a no win situation either way. If Zorn stays the whole season, I honestly don't have any faith in him turning things around. If he's fired midway through, we have given up on the season.

The only thing that would make me happy is for Snyder to sell the team and take Vinny with him.

yes the firing of zorn would be an admission that the front office made a mistake in hiring him in the first place is snyder willing to admit any of his failings?

No? I've never thought Zorn would make it through the season. I'm not a huge fan of firing him mid-season, but I wouldn't be mad at it. It's no secret to anyone that he can't coach for beans.

Well...I thought you posted the ship was sinking with Zorn. A little change of heart. Kinda like Danny is having right now!

Fire Zorn & Cerrato. Hire Shanahan (if he's daft enough to take the job). Bench Campbell if he has one more bad game. Draft OL, RB, QB and DE in that priority order next year. Trade or FA for a veteran QB as we cannot use Collins as another over the hill stand in. We need a cull in the FO, and coaching & playing staff.

If Snyder can't/won't hire a quality GM for starters, we are in for more of the same for years. Without that, we proabbly can't find a quality coach who will touch us with a barge pole.

The problem I see with this team is that we have some many former 1st round picks with huge egos who think they are better than they are. If you recall the teams from Gibbs I, they were mostly mid to low round pick players and FA who weren't guaranteed anything and played with urgency to make the team and keep their jobs.
