:soapbox:A loyal frustrated fan:
I live in Southern California and I work night shift(1745hrs-0545hrs) I got off work Sunday morning at 0545hr for you who dont no military time 545am. I sleep at 7:30am woke up at 10:30am DVR recording game. I put on game and watch it from DVR at the start to catch up to reg game time. Im tired from being up all night but you want to watch your team play and this is what I get for being so loyal. Now I'm back at work again to work another 12 hour shift with about 5hours of sleep and Redskin defeat. Is it really worth me losing sleep for a team that just can't get out of their on way? I really have to do some soul searching cause this really sucks that our season is washed up so soon. Week 5 we talking about firing and hiring coaches and GM's. I guess it's better than being a Raider Fan. Oh sh*t we play them. I guess will see who's worst.

When the front office doesn't provide you with the right resources, then you are setting your HC to fail. Case in point, Vinny forgot that we have holes on our OL and goes on a shopping spree for an expensive DL and DB when he could have gotten help on the OL.

Campbell has started more games than most of the starting QBs in the NFL, so there's a ton of video and lots of opinions on him. If he's got the chops you think he does, he'll be starting for another team next year. If not, he'll just be one more in a long line of Redskins starting QBs that no one else wanted. Hard to be a good Offense with a QB that can't start for any other team. See also Frerotte, Ramsey, Brunell and those dudes I can't remember who started for Spurrier. Didn't one of them wear a glove on his throwing hand?
Yep we had Danny Wuerfuel ( Glove) and Shane Mathews LOL A Joke

I made the same point in an earlier thread last week. Someone responded, much to my amazement by saying "resources" or not, it Zorn's responsibility to get the job done. I'm still having a hard time trying to figure that one. Zorn SHOULD be able to make bricks out of straw..........or else.

We'll refer to Jim Zorn as Moses.

Well as long as Zorn is the HC than Synder can still have the media talking about the Redskins so maybe he just drags this out for the pub.

I agree with that, but Zorn still seems overmatched as a playcaller and game manager. I think if given an opportunity with the right organizational structure and less on his plate (i.e. not having 3 job titles), he could succeed. Sadly, in his mid-50s, this was probably his only shot at being a HC in this league.

I borrowed the phrase from the movie, thought it fit well with what is expected from Zorn.
