How would it take the average QB to master a 700 page playbook? Answer is years and TC was in that system in KC for years. C'mon man you know as well as i know that the playbook expand when he came in for those 4 games. So that made a big difference Saunders had more confidence in him because he spent more time in his system than JC. I don't think folks really understand how hard it is to be a NFL QB. Moreless, a NFL QB that changes systems every year or so. Imagine have to learn the position of QB and a whole new system at once repeatedly. The growing pains for that individual is a lot longer then others. Stability is the key to success in running an organization which we haven't that the last pass 10 year.
Yeah, tell that to Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit, and New Jersey.

For all the people calling for Campbell to go and draft another QB... is he the problem with the offense? I'm not someone who's on his bandwagon, but I surely don't want to see him gone considering he's going to be better than most rookies and a lot of starting QBs currently.

For those wanting him gone, which presumably would mean we're drafting QB with our first pick and ignoring OL AGAIN, would Peyton Manning or Tom Brady have made us competitive? I really don't think so. It's in the trenches where the problems lie (at least on the offensive side of the ball) and that's what needs to be addressed. Basically, I'd just want to get rid of some veterans on the defensive side of the ball who aren't the same as they used to be.
Let me ask you this, if the O-line is the issue then I presume you are refering to them not blocking well. You might have a point with the run blocking or it might be the type of blocking they are being told to use. As to pass blocking how much time should they give JC to get the pass off? On almost every play they are giving him 3-7 seconds which is normal in the NFL. If JC knows a blitz is coming he needs to change out of the play given and change to a slant or quick pass option. He doesn't do that. His WR's are not getting open enough for him to feel comfortable threading the ball to them. Just my feelings.

Don't you guys think this is way too early?? But once again, this is the warparth, I'm not supposed to be surprise I guess..

Smoot, R. Thomas, Cartwright, and Betts would be my choices.. And not resign Phillips, Wynn (assuming we resign him back after our punter Smith recovers) and Collins.. I also would try to restructure Randle El and Portis' contracts to lesser value..
Absolutly not. If this team started out bad last yr and progressed to the 6-2 season to end up 8-8 we would feel comfortable knowing the team is getting better and will ride through this rough stretch, but that's not the case. We went 6-2 most likely with teams not knowing what we were trying to do with out game film to study our 50 plays last yr to a 2-6 end of season. We got worse. If this yr started out with a bang and we had to losses to tough teams then people would feel more comfortable. Instead we lost to a good team and a really bad team. Squeeked by to other bad teams. The loss to a bad team and the two squeeked games is what has people feeling we are not going to compete against the tough teams down the stretch. So in essance we are just contimplating what we should do next yr after Zorn is gone. ;)

So you guys want to basically fire everyone, cut everyone, trade everyone but will be bitching and complaining about how badly we suck again. Odd.
Atleast if we suck we'll have a reason to know why. Plus we will know the team is building continuity with no name players vs. primidona's.

 Sorry I missed that.

It's amazing how you believe changing systems every year or two doesn't affect ones development? Especially when it date back to his high school years to now. i missed the fact you don't have common sense as well

Jimmy Johnson just got done bagging on the Redskins on the FOX NFL Pregame Show. Though I slightly disagree with a couple of his observations, I believe that he is pretty much correct. He was saying some of the same things that we have been saying. If we aren't in the hunt at season's end...BLOW IT UP!
