I drink keystone light all the time. I grew up drinking Narragansett beer in Narragansett!
In college we would drive to the brewery and buy a case(always at least 20) of 16oz returnable longnecks for about 6 dollars ,the Narragansett brewery was only about 20 mins from the dorm.

To be honest I only drank it when it was first reintroduced. I was too young to drink it back in the day but my buddies day seriously lived off it in the late 70's and early 80's.
I think it was actually brewed in Cranston not Narragansett.

I think it has to do more with the Narragansett Bay then the town.
