Need a new beer for a party I'm throwing next week. Most of you know I am a Corona guy but I want something new. Ideas?
As far as Mexican beers, they are all a step up from Corona, maybe with the exception of Carta Blanca. Sol is pretty comparable to Corona, but better tasting. AW's suggestion of Pacifico Clara is a good one as well.

Landshark is a corona-style beer, and it's one of my go-to beers in the Summer for drinkability.

If you want to go in a different direction, check out a Belgian White like Hoegaarden, Allagash White, Ommegang Witte or Blue Moon/Shock Top (depending on budget).

I never got into Magic Hat #9, it's too fruity for me. But a lot of people seem to like it.

Picked up celebration ale tonight.. haven't had it in four years or so... kinda wishing I had gone #9.. don't know why but I never feel like having more than one or two of any of SNs brews at a time

Carta Blanca is fantastic and Landshark is outstanding for a solid lager. Like many wives, it's solid, but goes down nice and easy. ;)

Landshark is definitely a good summer beer, hanging on the deck, maybe doing some grillin', damn can't wait for summer!

Got into the 60s yesterday, snow flurries today, typical wacky March weather.
