LOL. I never noticed that. Hurricane was my 40 of choice but certainly wasnt because it tastes good. After ht first one it didnt really matter anyway.

lol yeah it was just for show, but it was fun to let out some good roars like a bear while drinking it, and trust me with how bad it tasted it made you want to roar!

Sometimes we would have a 40 grab bag night. A few of us would hit the store and buy up all different kinds of 40s. Then we would take turns picking out of the bag, sometimes you might get lucky and get a decent one like Bud, but if you were really lucky you would draw the BIG BEAR!

Cracks me up. Doesn't matter the generation of the university, EVERYONE loves a 40. I know I've said this before, but if you've never had St. Ides (the REAL malt liquor, not the fruity stuff), it's literally the worst thing you've ever had. I've had shots of 151 that have gone down smoother.

I remember New Years Eve when I was 19 or so, I bought a 64 oz Colt .45, I was the pimp of the party, everyone was jealous

Maaaan, I think I've only seen a 64 oz. one time in my life and it was only a Bud Light. :(

I don't think it is just college kids that keep these beers alive. If you go into most blue collar/ Working Joe bars they are drinking mainly from that list.

All summer I would start the night with one of these, but holy CRAP do they **** you up...

My wife and I have very few, "You are forbidden to do that." between the two of us, but that is one that we've now made permanent. No more Four Lokos, Jooses or Max Vibe. I literally feel retarded when I have them. Even though officially it's the equivalent of drinking like 6-7 beers, I slur like I've had 20.
