What Shows Are You Watching?

I can only fit a few new shows into my weekly schedule but heregoes:

Modern Family- anything w/ Ed Oneil in it is a good thing, and his new wife....nice.

Fringe- Not new but fairly new and a good show

I've heard good things about the Son's of Anarchy but not sure I have time to squeeze that one in.

Any other suggestions?

SOA is good. You need to watch season one to know what the heck is going on. It is very much a serial type show with a lot of back story they have built. Maybe the best acted show on TV.

While it's not new I'm really getting hooked on Parks and Recreation. I thought the first season was a little blah but it seems to be hitting it's stride now.

Courtney Cox looks hot , does she not ? Son's of Anarchy is decent . If I were in my 20's I would try and get a part on Cougar as one of CC's boyfriends :)

If I were in my 20's it would make me go looking for a cougar as hot as CC.

Nothing new, but a few of my staples are in full swing- Curb Your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, and The Office. I also really enjoyed this season of Entourage, which wrapped up on Sunday with a great season finale.

My wife and I have tried out the ABC Wednesday sitcoms. Hank typecasts Kelsey Grammer into essentially the same role he's had in every sitcom he's been in but he's a go-getting former CEO instead of a psychologist. The Middle is pretty much "Malcolm in the Middle" from the viewpoint of the Mom, and Patricia Heaton isn't that funny and no other character can help her carry the show.

Modern Family is good, Ed O'Neill has a bit of Al Bundy in him mixed with the Dad from My Three Sons, although his daughter's husband is annoying as all get out (Think of a cross between Michael Scott and Andy Bernard). Cougar Town is probably the best of those 4 shows, but I can see it getting stale real fast. Christa Miller looks like she's had too much plastic surgery, and the blonde is quite annoying.

We both found Community to be painful. Watched 2 episodes before giving up.

We did get into Top Chef since the Voltaggio Brothers are from Frederick, and like the show.

Glee is hysterical, that's high on my list of must watch shows now.

I tried Flash Forward the first week, missed the subsequent shows. I might try to get back into it. It's trying to be a puzzle partially revealed bit by bit like Lost, but I'm not sure if its working for me yet.

It's now in its second season, but this season I've gotten into Sons of Anarchy (on FX). Good mix of character development, action, and love interests. Plus FX ain't shy about showing nudity, violence, and bad language after 10pm. Part of me is still 15 years old and impressed by that stuff.

Watching the first episode of FlashForward right now (crazy to see Seth McFarlane in it!), it's pretty good. Weird similarities to Lost-bird hits window, kangaroo hops down the street of LA (Lost-polar bear on an island), Oceanic Air is in both, and so is Penny (though she's not Penny in this one)

How could I forget Glee?? My fiancee wanted to watch the series premiere, and I groaned and decided to sit through it. Brilliant! Great TV. Jane Lynch is so funny.

Is anyone else watching Bored To Death on HBO? I freaking LOVE this show! Jason Schwartzman is really funny but Ted Danson and Zach Galifanakis make the show seriously great. I highly recommend it (no pun intended).

I spend 12 hours a week watching the Redskins on loop. They're not threatening the Neilsen ratings anytime soon, but you just never know how things are going to turn out. Until about the fourth time around, that is.
