The last 10-15 minutes or so were pretty intense. Once Cohle went into that biker bar my blood pressure went up a few notches.

That six minutes may have been the best continuous shot in TV history. We didn't have to wait long for a Breaking Bad void filler. I stopped watching, it just couldn't keep my attention sadly. I'm really liking Almost Human and The Following continues to be awesome. itvnetop 02-11-2014, 06:02 PM I don't think I even noticed that it was a continuous shot, but it definitely reminded me of the end of Children Of Men, which is one of my favorite movies. It was pretty incredible! Exactly what came to my mind during that scene. Cuaron has to be proud of Fukunaga's vision. The blocking, itself, must have been a chore to execute. itvnetop 02-11-2014, 06:08 PM The last 10-15 minutes or so were pretty intense. Once Cohle went into that biker bar my blood pressure went up a few notches. Seriously. Even though I love SOA, we saw the difference between the portrayals of biker clubs. McConaughey's performance while "loaded" was downright scary. Dude is seriously knocking it out of the park lately... plus switching from Dallas Buyers Club to TD must have been physically crazy. Just a family friendly show. Just IMHO! MTK 02-13-2014, 05:37 PM Finally getting around to watching The Wire. Almost done with season 1 now. It started off a little slow, but by episode 4 or 5 I was definitely hooked. Great show. That Guy 02-13-2014, 06:28 PM if you've missed it, homicide is a good series... at least the first 3 seasons and the movie. season 4-5 suffered from good writers and good actors leaving (for LA, since it was shot in baltimore) and being replaced by guys that weren't as good. itvnetop 02-13-2014, 06:42 PM Finally getting around to watching The Wire. Almost done with season 1 now. It started off a little slow, but by episode 4 or 5 I was definitely hooked. Great show. The Wire is definitely one of the greatest shows ever. I don't know if its level of detail and realism will ever be matched. itvnetop 02-13-2014, 06:43 PM if you've missed it, homicide is a good series... at least the first 3 seasons and the movie. season 4-5 suffered from good writers and good actors leaving (for LA, since it was shot in baltimore) and being replaced by guys that weren't as good. My buddy keeps telling me to watch this show... Simon's series before The Wire, right? Chico23231 02-13-2014, 07:23 PM My buddy keeps telling me to watch this show...
