is holmgren getting his staff ready for next year? possibly keep zorn for qb coach?
don't think an HC, even perhaps undeserved of the hire, would stay on for such a demotion

Ok now I'm maybe being a conspiracy theorist, but why specify a "history with Holmgren"
“It’s not a threat at all,” Cerrato said. “Jim welcomed the idea if it was the right guy. So we came up with a list of people that had a background in the West Coast offense and a history with Holmgren. Nobody’s job on offense changes. Jim still calls the plays.”
Cerrato: Lewis 'Another Set of Eyes' For Zorn (http://www.redskins.com/gen/articles/Cerrato_On_Lewis_Hire___Another_Set_of_Eyes__67264 .jsp)
Interesting note about the experience coaching receivers. He can replace Smith and Hixon at once!
because the west coast has branched off so much they prob want someone closer to the holmgren fam
don't think vinny would let himself slip that much.. he said he came up with the people along with zorn, so I'm sure it was zorn's preference that the person be in the same tree

Not a good sign if your boss tells you he is bringing in a consultant to see why you suck.

Biggest issue everyone noted to an in-season firing of Zorn, he's the HC, playcaller and QB coach. Well, now you can promote Blache to HC, make Lewis the play caller and Meidt the QB coach. Zorn gets fired after the Philly game. I'm just saying.
Lewis was OC for Holmgren, but also coached with Shanny in SF. Hope he's got a solid calling plan because his minutes are going to be increasing.

Zorn HC, Lewis OC, Holmgren GM ??

I welcome the move. Lewis has a tremendous background in the WC offense, and an abundance of overall coaching experience on both sides of the ball. His addition can only be an asset. Good move....

Ok is it me or what. Everytime someones name comes up it seems everyone here knows what the guy has done over the past 20 years. It never fails. Either some people have to much time on their hands or they just make up the stuff they post. LOL
