When the Cowboys come to town, fans should yell out and hold signs for different downs just to confuse Romo.
Romo lost track of what down it was on last series vs. BroncosLotus 10-06-2009, 05:00 PM When the Cowboys come to town, fans should yell out and hold signs for different downs just to confuse Romo. 53Fan 10-06-2009, 05:09 PM  Might work! Chevy13 10-06-2009, 07:04 PM I liked the comment on that article from Lisa  : "You know what Dallas and Brokeback Mountain have in common? They both have Cowboys that suck." DCtoAZ 10-07-2009, 12:37 AM this is the best thing ever .. i hope THIs story blows up !!!! Chevy13 10-07-2009, 01:24 AM sorry guys apparently he does know how to count.... ya right :smashfrea That's what it says on PFT I'm not allowed to post the link yet... but he says that the NFL down marker was in the process of changing from 4 to 1... Yeah, I saw that lame explanation. I also saw the Romo video. Fact is, the dude did not know it was 4th down. The Cowboys FO is engaging in fruitless PR spin in trying to make it go away. Monkeydad 10-07-2009, 03:15 PM Hilarious indeed! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2306/2196079516_1becf30ba4_o.gif mtaylor8909 10-08-2009, 03:37 AM Tony romo is nothing without Owens. McNabb: Not the most situationally aware fellow... - Shutdown Corner - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/McNabb-Not-the-most-situationally-aware-fellow-?urn=nfl,196785) He caught a lot of heat last year for not knowing how NFL ties work, though he's not the only one -- heck, even intelligent ex-quarterbacks-turned-announcers get it wrong from time to time. But Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb(notes) must carry the grief alone for his clock-butchering boo-boo in his team's 13-9 loss to the Oakland Raiders. Down 10-3 with 27 seconds left in the first half, McNabb went to the line and called a time out after deciding that he didn't like what he saw on the Raiders' side of the ball. Problem was, the Eagles had already used their customary three time-outs in the half, and no amount of bargaining could get them another one. Philly was busted for delay of game, the ball was pushed back from the Oakland 15 to the Oakland 20, McNabb took a Richard Seymour(notes) sack on the next play, and the Eagles had to settle for a field goal. Had the Eagles scored a touchdown and kicked the extra point in that drive, they would have had the points needed to tie the Raiders. |
