Did you make total assumptions without me even hinting or implying about what you just completely made up there?

If so it's not worth my effort.

I'm kinda failing to see where at all in my previous post I made a total assumption about you. I mean I was asking a legit question there. I told you what my side of the argument was, aren't you gonna present yours? Is it worth the effort? I don't know. All I know is that I'm laying my cards on the table and all you are is making posts talking about me making total assumptions about you. I'm not assuming anything about you, other than maybe you aren't pleased with our offensive effort or production today. That assumption was based off your previous posts though. Inform me if I'm wrong so I can correct these misperceptions.

Well, I for one don't feel much better at all about our team moving forward. Tampa and St. Louis are without a doubt the two worst teams in football, and we needed come from behind victories AT HOME to squeak it out vs both of them. Beating them by a combined 5 points in our house sure doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

I'm stoked that we won, but we're not very good at all. My only hope is that the players were pressing and playing tight in the first half, and they finally loosened up and tried to have some fun out there in the second half. But so it goes week in and week out for the Skins. Close games and what ifs.

I don't think we're good on offense. I've seen enough from this group and we just don't have the players. But I think we're solid on defense.

I know someone else said it, but I think it is our best hope for our offense. It looks like Zorn in the 2nd half "took the handcuffs off". I am content with Campbell's INTs going up, if it means he gets the chance to hit Moss in stride in games. By the way, that was a heck of a long ball to Moss, he hit him in stride, on the sideline, 2 things that Campbell has struggled with. And Campbell responded with a perfect rating in the 3rd quarter. If we could somehow find that type "rhythm" in the first quarter, maybe we could play with a lead for a change and that might give both the offense and defense a chance to really put a complete game together. That's certainly my hope.

I think the team (including JC) as a whole need to stop making bonehead moves at the beginning of the game. Even if the team had gone 3 and out in the first drive (sans fumble lost) I believe things would have gone different in this game.

But our defense only gave up one TD and two FGs, and the TD was short field.

Things will come together on offense in time, but the defense needs to carry the day and we'll probably have to win ugly for awhile. It's not going to be a 35-7 win next week. 20-17 might be the best we can hope for.

If I'm right, this will be a good team in December. Possibly a very good team. But being an unfinished product is not an excuse for complete unit breakdowns. The offense needs to be sharper than it was today, even if it can't put it altogether just yet.

Interesting, I typed tmandoug1 into wikipedia and I got:
Warpath.net poster who adds little value to conversations he participates in.

JC had time today, I watched him on every play, he can't stay there all day, he is not reading the D and gets lost after he drops off the first read and then scrambles to find the dump off. Why do we do this every week, he turned it over 4 times.

He may have time to throw on some plays but in the 1qtr Tampa Bay only rushed 4 and he had no time. Did you see that the Redskins WR were not getting any seperation on their routes. He had no where to throw the ball because the Bucs were blanketing our WR.

After watching this same group of guys for several years, do you honestly think we're going to be a good offense by the end of the year? I don't mean yardage wise, I mean an offense that can consistently put up 20+ points. I've seen nothing from this group that tells me they're capable of doing that.

Maybe we need to see more of Mitchell and Mason. I mean the Saints are led by a 7th round receiver and undrafted running back (and Brees of course)
