New sod for FedEx Field coming next week | ProFootballTalk.com (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/02/new-sod-for-fedex-field-coming-next-week/)

Supposed to be replaced after the U2 concert this past Tuesday, but its not getting replaced until after the game. Anyone know anything about it? Will if be a problem?

How many NFL stadiums has U2 actually ruined this year? Who do they think they are?

"tweeted" Fletcher about the sod...

Warpath44 @LFletcher59 Do you think there will be problems with the field since they are not replacing the sod until after the game? U2 was tuesday

LFletcher59 RT @Warpath44: @LFletcher59 Do you think there will be problems with the field ...I think the field will b fine.

Not unless it rains. Looking at the forcast it is supposed to be nice on Sunday.

Saturday Night...Partly cloudy in the evening...then clearing. Lows in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming northwest after midnight.

Sunday...Sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. West winds 5 to 10 mph... Increasing to around 15 mph in the afternoon.

At first I thought the concern was 'sodomy'.

If we get beaten by the Bucs that's how it will feel.

I'm worried more about swine flu. Hopeful there won't by any handshaking going on between our players and theirs.

This is a VAST understatement imo.

Did anybody see how green the grass looked around the 30 yard line? There was a huge difference between that and the worn grass from the U2 concert. At least it's getting replaced tomorrow. My first thought when I saw Portis bust through that hole and then fall immediately afterward was, damn I hope the turf isn't gonna be an issue today. Luckily it wasn't that big of an issue.
