Neither is the cowboys-redskins but it doesn't stop them. Don't worry about coming down brah...you'd have to take those blinders off and that's too much trouble...just keep pulling Snyder's Super Bowl bandwagon to every offseason...you'll get there eventually...right???

NUDGE-NUDGE!

lmao. I gotta admit, that was funny.

No bandwagon here son. I said in another thread it's time for Snyder to hire a GM and remove himself from making football related decisions.

I just don't put much stock in this silly junior high school drama of who's friends with who.

Snyder has been recieving negative backlash since his experiment with Bruce Smith, Mark Carrier, Dieon Sanders, Jeff George and a host of others.

He may not seem like a bad owner to those who don't have a lot to compare him too, but being a supporter of this team long before Snyder was born, he fails miserably in comparison to his predecessor. Even the late George Marshall who was the owner when we purchased our first season tickets, with all his faults would turn over in his grave if he could what has been done to his beloved Redskins. People who truly love the Redskins and have been faithful followers for many years are not going to let Snyder off the hook as easily as a few lines from the keypad, they're going to stay on his case until he demonstrates he's willing/or has learned how to run a professional sports franchise. The onus is on him, if he never learns it won't be because he hasn't had time to do so, or supporters willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Some of you guys don't remember Jack Kent Cooke. Class owner in the vein of the Marra's and Rooney's. The Redskins problems start at the top and it is getting very difficult trying to get behind a guy every year who seems to just flounder. The hiring of Zorn as OC, (before hiring a head coach) then making him head coach was just so backwards that I could hardly believe it. I don't question whether he wants to win. It is how he is going about it. The franchise will not have extended success until he either lets go of the meddling or sells the team. I don't see either coming anytime soon so I thank god that hockey starts this week.

I totally agree with you but I think DS saw what JJ did in Dallas with their current HC and thought hey I can do the same thing. I think we all know our current problems stem from the teams coaching staff being jammed together from two seperate coaching tree's. I'm sure they are doing their best to get a long and make this work out to keep their jobs but I wonder how much even a little this is playing a part in our current problems.

Agreed. As you know, I have very critical opinions on what Dan Snyder has done to this franchise and his inability to see his faults. We on here differ on some of those opinions. I can be one of Snyder's harshest critics, because I think he absolutely deserves it. BUT, BUT

Criticize him because who he is friends with? Uhhhh, that is a bit assinine. Perhaps Sndyer and Jones are friends because they share the same future vision for the NFL as a whole. Atre they not both considered to be progressive owners as far as NFL business as a whole? People seem to forget that Dan Snyder owns more than the Redskins. he owns a piece of a much bigger thing, the NFL. And the health and future of the NFL greatly effects his investment in this franchise.

So to begin hammering away at Snyder because iis friend with Jones or any other owners defeats the purpose of arguing Snyder's ownership and franchise control. Wow, what a leap. lol.

Sure...if that was the only reason that one could find to dislike Snyder...

...Good thing for fans is Snyder has been giving fans a lot more than one reason to dislike him...having cowboy ties is just one of the many.

If Snyder can produce championships, he can hang out with serial killers for all I care. [I recommend Dexter Morgan.]

It's good to know that there are still some people on this board who can be logically critical of Snyder.
