Because the O is ranked at the bottom and the D has been ranked much higher. The problem is that sense our O cannot score we expect for the D to win all of our games and that would be fine if we had the best D in the NFL. We don't so the O has to help at some point in games. We have 4 TD's this year and one was by our punter and some how it the D's fault we are loosing games?
And our expensive defense let Stafford beat us.

The highly touted Skins D let the crappy lions drive the ball 99 yds for a touchdown.
And amass 381 yards total offense with a rookie QB.

Blache is a hunter, isn't he? Snyder should go buy him a shotgun, bow and arrow and send his ass packing into hunting retirement!!! We need some young innovative infusion, Gray or Olivadotti can provide that. We might as well make this move or risk losing them.
LMAO. As for the defensive ranking. Stats are important but not everything. :D. If we dont makes some changes I don't think our D will be ranked that high for long.

I have totally given up this year on the skins. Its obvious that the players don't care so why should I. Zorn is a nice guy but we need someone who will put players in there place and who has credibilty. I say unfortunately Zorn must be let go tonight. Whats the difference now we all know that he lost the team already. It needs to be done ASAP.
Turn the team over to Bugel until bye week where the new coach is installed or just turn the team over to the new coach ASAP were only in three weeks.

Blache is a smug inept defensive coordinator. It'd be different if we'd won the Superbowl last season or something. I'd start the changes by firing Blache first. No reason to let the Lions dominate our defense.

I thought this was the year where the sack numbers would sky rocket. The 'Skins let a rookie QB beat them, and I really don't know where the "D" went!

The D is fine. Dont fire him after this game what about the first 2 weeks. O didnt do anything.
Greg Blache at the Bears...
"During his tenure, Blache's defenses forced 138 turnovers, including 37 in 2001, the most by a Bears defense since 1990, and accounted for 13 touchdowns (two in 1999, four in 2000, five in 2001, one in 2002, and one in 2003).
In 2002, Blache dealt with numerous injuries, leading to 11 different starting line-ups over the course of 16 games. While juggling personnel, the Bears defense continued with their attacking, aggressive style that set records during the 2001 season.
They forced 64 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and reached a league plateau by forcing at least one turnover in 33 consecutive games, the second longest active streak in the NFL at the time.
In 2001, Blache molded the Bears defense into one of the top units in the league, producing the top-ranked scoring defense by allowing only 203 points in 16 games (12.7 points per game). His run defense finished second in the NFL and first in the NFC, allowing just 82.1 yards per game, while allowing only three rushes of 20 yards or more all seasons and only six rushing touchdowns."
Is this the same guy that runs our defense?

Problems go beyond Greg Blache. Problems lie in talent level.
