At least Hall has the balls to own it. Kudos to you D'angelo.

yeah, he sounds more like a leader than the petulant twat down in ATL.

If he did, it is warranted.

Zorn better watch it because based on comments from Hall, Cooley, Portis & Moss, I see a fractured locker room a couple of bad losses away.

The players cannot even enjoy a victory anymore.

Well Hall is the weakest link on the defense and a below average NFL corner so maybe he should leave the "leadership" to guys with true NFL bona fides like London Fletcher. The play against Robinson that he mentions was embarrassing and he looked like he was on skates. But it is not like that was the first, or will be the last, time Hall gets smoked this season.

He's definitely not mouthing off or complaining. I know some people love to spin things in the worst light possible, but I just don't see it here.

Agreed. He's saying the type of things an underperforming guy with a huge contract should be saying. And he's right. We need to cut out the mistakes, step it up, and put games "out of reach." I have no issue with these comments.

D. Hall was just on ESPN's First Take

- We made too many mistakes. Defensively, couldn't get off the field on 3rd down

- Won't take anything away from the Rams, they played hard

- I definitely felt the fans frustration. Any time you get a win in this league you take it. I can feel their frustration though. We should have put the game out of reach

- Still think we've got some of the best fans in the world. We need to give them something to cheer about

- One mistake could have cost us the game. When I slipped and fell, that one mistake could have cost us the game

- Henson is just a young guy, doesn't know what he's talking about (re: the fans). Chalk it up to immaturity

- Liked the decision to go for it on 4th and 1 at the 2. Not getting in the end zone is inexcusable (I think that's what he said)

- Lions are a dangerous team. We're a 1-1 team going to play an 0-2 team. We can't worry about last year. Last year doesn't matter

- Hosting a charity benefit tonight in DC for the Reading ConnectionNo problem with any of Hall's comments. He's saying the right things

Thanks for the rundown SS.

I agree with the Slingin' one. DHall is saying the right things.

I don't like it when a defensive player says anything that can be remotely construed as negative about the offense and vice versa. It's just not a good idea to start down that path.

Having said that, I think that he showed the right attitude. I just hope that he and the other players will be careful not to inadvertently cause any locker room problems.

He is exactly right and he said it in a very professional way. If he is going to say something publicly alluding to low scoring that's the way to do it.

I agree; he tip-toed around the subject well enough to get to his main point, which was accepting responsibility for a mistake.

I like D. Hall. Sure he gets paid a lot of money, money that his play on the field might not support, but he makes up for occasional lapses in coverage with his big play ability; he makes interceptions where most corners in the league do not.

Hall didn't say anything wrong here.

Like SC said, he's probably not the best messenger, but I don't think that this points to a divide in any way. The offense appears just as pissed that they didn't get in the end zone as well.
